  1. i cant, am i missing something? i legit went into qfan, turned on dc for all chassis fan and ext fan, but i cant adjust the fan curve.
  2. Thanks for the reply, but my case doesn't have front panel for it. Should I just buy it and leave it on the bottom of my case? My case is really big (evolve enthoo ATX) i tried, i cant
  3. hey guys, so im looking for a good reliable fan hub to control the speed of my fans. right now the fans are really loud because they are spinning at 80% i believe. the current case fans (x3) i have are --> https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-140mm-Cooling-Fan-PH-F140SP_BK/dp/B00E9NZV4Y these fans are 3pin so i cant control the speed though bios (asus z170 deluxe mobo) i was considering this hub: https://www.amazon.com/Nzxt-AC-GRDP2-M1-Digital-Controller-connector/dp/B0156YBCKG/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 give me some suggestions on what fan hub i should get. relatively under or around $30 thanks ahead of time
  4. i might end up having to do that. oh by the way, this might be a dumb question, but the sata cable that came from the cpu cooler has 3 4 pin connectors, can i plug in my 4 pin fans into that since its powered by sata cable from my psu? sorry for all of these questions, first pc build
  5. i know i did that, but i have two 4pin connectors left (from the water cooling) and i dont have any space on my motherboard, can i plug it in the fan hub?
  6. hey guys, so im putting my computer together right now and i ran into a slight complication. ive installed the nzxt kraken x61 and plugged in both the SATA, USB, and the 4 pin cpu power to my motherboard (asus z170-a) in cpu_fan. my case (phanteks evolve atx) came with this thing (not sure whats it called) but it has 6 3 pin connectors for fans (3 of which are in use) and it also had a main 4 pin connector that i needed to plug into the cpu_opt on my motherboard. now this is where it gets tricky, i still havent connected my water cooler fans (two 4pin cpu connectors) because i dont have any 4pin connectors left on the motherboard. can i plug in the 4pin connector from my water cooler fans into the 3pin connections that my case came with?
  7. could you please link the youtube video? i cant seem to find it. sorry for the hassle
  8. hmm. will the faster ram make a big difference? also i forgot to mention that in the description but i did say evga gtx1070 ftw in the title.
  9. thanks for the recommendation. will consider that after i build it (and if its loud then ill replace the fans)
  10. should i buy some corsair (SP) fans for the cooler?
  11. hey guys so im thinking about building this computer with the following components: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/YwxGGf im building this pc as a black theme with blue lighting. i will possibly do some spray painting but im not sure at the moment. im also going to buy some LED strips, possible the nzxt hue+ just because of the RGB. let me know what you guys think. if you see anything wrong or have some recommendations/tips feel free to reply. looking for all the advice i can get thanks ahead of time
  12. youre right. i was thinking about some other motherboard that you can remove the red part and spray paint it and just put it together without having to tape the motherboard. ( this is what i was talking about
  13. i havent looked into the msi* sli, but i did consider the evga however i was just wondering if there were any good motherboards around the $150 range that werent black and red etc.
  14. ehh. if i wanted to spray paint i might as well just get the msi M5 and paint the shield blue.
