  1. I never even though about that, thats so true! Thanks
  2. Ok thanks everyone, I'll wait I guess
  3. Ok so basically I just bought a new computer with an intel i5 6600k and while in shipping, something on the cpu cooler got bent and now it does not / cannot (I've tried to fix it) sit on the cpu properly. When idle the cpu is usually around 75 degrees celsius and then when gaming, even though it does throttle I think i can play basic games, its running at 90 degrees celsius. So my question is, should I just leave my new computer while I wait for the new cooler to ship or am I ok to play those basic games that keep it around 90 degrees?
  4. Well I wouldn't want to clone all data, just the OS to the SSD and keep everything else on the hard drive
  5. So I'll be buying a new computer soon and I'm not sure if I will buy an SSD right away to store my OS on. So my question is, how hard would it be to move my OS from a regular hard drive to a new SSD probably a few months after I get the computer? Thanks!
  6. This is very true. I've done the same, built a perfect build thats exactly the price I wanted and last second I noticed that it would all be useless without that dang $120 OS. Thanks for pointing that out, otherwise I may have bought all those parts and no OS.
  7. Oh thanks for the information!
  8. Thanks so much HKZeroFive for the quick response.
  9. I will be using the computer for gaming only, I have two other computers to do all the other things I want to do. Does PC part picker choose the best parts for the price or do you find the parts yourself?
  10. Ok so basically I have a fricken Mac right now that I've been gaming on a little but its time to step it up a bit. So yeah I need you guys to help me out with this one. Give me a list of all the parts (everything) I will need to build a computer (please include links of where to purchase) and use it except for the monitor which I will be getting for my birthday. So that means everything to make a working gaming computer plus a mouse plus a keyboard. So you might be asking, whats the price range on this stuff, well I'm looking to spend no more than 1,500 *CANADIAN*. I'm willing to go over that amount by a little tiny bit if I 100% have to, to get a better part thats really worth it. I feel this topic will be very helpful to more than just me but other fellow Canadians who are currently hating the crappy Canadian dollar. Thanks!
