  1. Thanks, I'll take a look. Hadn't considered that
  2. OK. No worries. I think I'll just leave it for now and have a look later
  3. GPU lighting: I can't control it without the software and don't like the default lighting. Also, I was wondering about MSI applications in wine since I am planning to get a msi motherboard with integrated wifi and Bluetooth and using it on ubuntu
  4. Hi, I am currently trying to install the MSI gaming app on ubuntu using wine. I have a MSI gtx 1060 and a pentium g4560. I get this: fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x240000 0 0x23fc70 4 fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x240000 0 0x23fc70 4 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x240000 0 0x23fc70 4 fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation 0x240000 0 0x23fc70 4 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 err:setupapi:do_file_copyW Unsupported style(s) 0x144 The "unsupported styles line repeats a lot and the terminal is unable to complete the command so just stays open. It then says this after quite a while: ^Cfixme:console:CONSOLE_DefaultHandler Terminating process 24 on event 0 fixme:console:CONSOLE_DefaultHandler Terminating process 8 on event 0 fixme:console:CONSOLE_DefaultHandler Terminating process 34 on event 0 Does anyone have any experience/tips regarding this? All advice would be greatly appreciated. I have some linux knowledge but it is fairly basic and I haven't used wine very much.
  5. I found it was reasonably popular and I have a 4gb rx 470 vs your rx 580 8gb so you should have a lot of interest. I used myhermes and set the shipping price based on the online cost calculator on their website for the furthest place I was prepared to ship (it ended up being about £10)
  6. Now sorted. I had the first BIOS that supported kaby lake CPUs but it must have been incompatible with the iGPU. Is there any way to mark this as solved?
  7. its a g4560 with a h110 board but I have updated the bios so it shouldn't matter right?
  8. Ok. Should I remove my GPU first or doesn't it matter?
  9. Good idea to sell now. I sold my rx 470 4gb yesterday for £275 so you should get a lot for yours. I sold mine on ebay and it seems fine to me as long as you just use common sense
  10. I have already tried uninstalling the driver. I am going to update my BIOS first I think.
  11. Could uninstalling my GPU and resetting the CMOS work?
  12. Tried both. If I plug it in to the mobo I get no signal and if I set it in the BIOS without the GPU installed it makes no difference.
  13. Hi, I have just sold my graphics card on ebay but I need to take it out of my PC now. I cannot force my PC to use the integrated graphics on the CPU. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks
  14. Just found a gtx 1060 asus dual 6gb model for £200 so I think it seems like a good deal
