  1. Hello, i wanted to get a bit more into Linux and decided to install Debian on my Dell XPS 13 9360. The Installation went without any Problems, but the system does not detect the build in WIFI-Card. Using "dmesg" gives me a list, which i put in the attachments. I found this Debian guide on Installing Debian on the Dell XPS: https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Dell/Dell_XPS_13_9360 and i downloaded the driver referred in the Wifi-Section. I put it on a usb stick but i'm not sure where to go from here. As i said i'm very new to linux and there is no .exe Help is very much appreciated! EDIT: Solved it with >sudo dpkg -i file<
  2. Resolved: Old Sata SSD (not bootdrive) caused Problems and messed everything up. Disconnecting fixed everything
  3. Hello there, My Problem: My PC (about 2 years old) won't boot anymore. When i start it up it either blackscreens and does nothing, or i see the MSI Logo with "press F11 for Boot Menu" etc. but it wont react to keyboard input and doesnt do anything from there. My System: MSI mpg b550 gaming plus Ryzen 7 3700X 16GB DDR4 AMD Sapphire R9 Fury bequiet! PurePower 630W What i tried: When starting up the PC, the VGA LED on my Mainboard lights up and stays lit, so i thought my old R9 Fury was the Problem. I swapped it out with an old R7 i had lying around, but the same problem continued. PC won't boot and VGA LED stays lit. I can, however, still use the BIOS or BootMenu if i press the buttons fast enough at the beginning. I can use the Bios without any problems on both GPUs. But it always gets stuck when i want to boot anything. I tried to boot from my Samsung 970 EVO (Windows), a live Linux Stick and a Windows installation stick. Nothing worked. I cleared CMOS by removing the battery, without improvement. I also flashed my BIOS to the newest Version, without improvement. EDIT: Not sure if that matters, but i believe it all startet with a Windows Update a couple days ago, i noticed it because the PC was still running in the morning on the next day because it failed to reboot at night. And another note: I used to get the PC to boot ONCE yesterday. After trying everything stated above and restarting a trillion times Windows bootet a single time without a problem, after using it for a couple hours and then restarting, the booting failed again. Any Ideas? Thanks very much in advance! Dylan
  4. I just updated my Essential Ph-1 and after restarting i couldn't unlock it anymore using my pattern. I always just get the "wrong pattern" notification, although i'm 100% it is correct. I tried a dozen times and already restarted my phone multiple times with no success. I really need my phone and really don't want to factory-reset it. I'm desperate, is there anything else i can do?
  5. Ok, maybe bit of a stupid Question: The Anniversary Edition Ryzen 7 2700x has its headspreader signed by dr. lisa su, but will the ink (or whatever they use) survive under all the heat after a couple years or after being wiped with isopropanol when you change the thermal paste? Thaankss
  6. Hi, so currently i have 2 Output Devices connected to my PC (TV over HDMI and Headphones over 3.5mm jack) Now i'd like to connect another Soundbox to my PC (SONY SRS-ZR7), since i only have one 3.5mm jack, whats the best way to connect both to the PC? Would this cable work? The Devices don't need to Output simultaniously, only one at the time. if not, what else could i do? Do i need to buy a costly Soundcard / DAC? Thanks in advance
  7. i've got a old AMD HD 7950 from MSI (TWIN FROZR II i believe) in my shelf. Doesn't work anymore, whenever i try to boot, everything i get is a blackscreen. Was the first GPU i bought from my own money, and hell a good one as well. I still remember how i got 5(!!) Full Games with the GPU (i think 3 from AMD and 2 from MSI). The games alone were worth more than the GPU (think i paid around 220€). Looks good in the Shelf and i can't convince myself throwing it away..
  8. I bought better mice from China, that cost be 50cent incl. Shipping. To be honest, for 50cent the mouse rocks. It works, and is even rubberized on the palm an the bottom. So yes, very damn cheap mice don't have to be Scam, but this one you posted isn't worth it. Here is a example on the German ebay https://www.ebay.de/p/?iid=131753056557&&&chn=ps Most of the Sellers do this to get many 5* Reviews, and seem more trustworthy when it's about expensive stuff like phones..
  9. Hi there, i am a Happy OP3 owner, and usually when i unplug my headhphones, the music, video or whatever is playing pauses. Anyhow this doesnt happen anymore, so when i unplug my headphones the sound continous on the speaker, i didn't find an option for this in the setting. Heelp. Where do i change this back? Thanks alot in advance !
  10. You are missing something, as a german - as i understood it, the channel needs atleast a constant viewercount of 500 or more and the stream has to be scheduled. If its neither of those you can stream without paying anything.
  11. the controller (i think you mean these safety things) only get stuck when you attack them wrong, the dock only scratches the screen when you aren't careful, and that can easly be avoided by buying a screen protector or a microfibre-cltoth, I have been playing for weeks now and the games never crashed once. Any more 1 out of million problems?
  12. because of this post you dont wanna get a Switch? There are always some people that have problems, but the majority doesnt have, because customers that dont have a problem have no reason to write about it on the internet. I got myself a switch, even tho i had a bad feeling about all the problems. Do you know what? This thing looks / Feels extremely good, i have no dead pixels, i have no connection Problem whatsoever, my switch doesnt bend (yet..) .. and even if it does.. you can bend every device if you use enough force .. and as the people in the thread said, they didnt even noticed it until one said it. The UI is one of the best i have ever seen in my life, and i don't regret the purchase at all, it's the best console i have ever played on. And yes, Zelda is nuts. Great game.
  13. Hi there so i'm really looking forward to buy one of the new AMD Ryzen CPU's. And i found it kinda interesting that the price difference is so "huge".. Where is the difference between these 3 chips? As far as i can see it's only the clock speed, and the 1700 having a lower TDP. So couldnt you just buy a 1700, 1700x and OC it to the level of a 1800x one? I understand that the 1800x is the "Top-notch" Ryzen silicon (best quality). But that totally wouldnt be worth it if i could simply OC a 1700, right? What do you think?
