Hello I just built a new PC about a month old. I played on it for awhile ,and it started getting quick but bad lag spikes. I checked my usuages and my ssd and hard drive depending on which one I was using was at 100% my memory was at 96 to 100% no matter what I was doing. I ignored and it went away but usuages stayed the same it came back. But worse. I checked my processes nothing is heavy everything is okay except the usuages. I played blacklight retribution which wasn't laggy before it was very smooth. And I logged into a server and it was super laggy. And I couldn't end it with task manager, so I restarted my PC with the button on the side and switched to my HDD. At this point im logged in but a program pops up with a black screen behind it this program was the Asus GPU tweaker. After windows gave me an error message saying that your computer has ran into some errors it will restart soon. Please hit OK and get ready for restart. I waited and it came up with checking for disk errors for my HDD and it ended up trying to fix it. It restarted again (assuming it boot to my hdd) and did the same thing except kinda diffrent now its on the windows 10 screen before you login and stuck on a loop. Sounds like a PSU or mobo problem. Try installing diffrent mobo or PSU. It could also be your hdd. Also make sure all you're connecters are connected correctly. Including the 24 pin. You could be hitting the PC with your leg ,and knocking around a lose 24 pin

Idk how long you've had this. But you might want to just factory reset your PC from windows. Everything will be deleted except the operating system.

And possibly a better psu

If you look at linus's video on regular vs skylake there isn't a big diffrence

Its definitely a possibility. One time I thought my PSU failed but it was just because the 24 pin wasn't plugged in all the way.

Just do what I used to do. Unplug modem once and awhile. And if you're using an internet USB then use Ethernet (its so much better). I can also suggest running some virus programs, and just deleting crap programs (if you havent). PS: keep in mind that BF4 probably has better servers too.

Don't quote me in this. But I heard that problems like this could be solved by reinstalling the mobo

NOOO. Build one. You can build one that is so much better for 800$

As an edit. An even older one is probably when I played this game called spring fall or something on my moms a Old computer. It was an MMo and it was made by the "older" Sony games

I'm a little younger. But I remember the original animal crossing on the DS that was a great game. I also remember playing battlefront and Ben 10 on the PS2

Do you have a parts list by any chance?

If you factory reset you reset the whole PC, but windows will stay on. And will of course have to download drivers and whatever again. This is what I would do if this didn't work. But if you just reset I would be ready to put some programs that you just got back on your PC.

Try unplugging your 24-pin connector. This happened to me ,and it ended up happening that my 24 pin wasn't in all the way.

I agree with SSD even if it wasn't the toolbars. Restoring and reinstalling should fix it

Installing CSGO runs perfectly. Drivers kind of helped

Installing Installing windows on my SSD now. I'm also going to install GPU drivers from their site. I installed from disc last time.

In that GPU speed is at 109% do you mean vram usuage? Because I can't find GPU usuage in GPU tweak 2

How can I check if I'm on full screen?
