  1. Hey guys, so I'm really torn about which display I want to choose for my budget gaming/work computer, and was wondering if any of you could give me some advice since I'm new to the pc building world. Obviously the Benq is going to be a little cheaper than the asus, but will you get a better bang for your buck if you dish out a little more for that 144hz that the asus is puting out. Let me know what you think, I'm trying to save as much money as possible for my budget build. Let me know if there are any other budget monitors that you think have a good bang for the buck.
  2. Hey thanks a lot for posting on my topic guys, I really do appreciate it. I'm definitely gonna up my budget a little bit if it means I'll be building a more efficient gaming computer with better upgrading capability for the future. I'm gonna start looking for a gtx 950, ssd, and a better case. I thought that case I had on there was a pretty good one though. It had 2,000 positive reviews on new egg, and with the three fans I thought it would be sufficient enough. I'll definitely look at other possible cases though.
  3. Alright guys so I've been doing a little bit of research for the past couple of weeks on diy pc building and I'm really interested in it. I've always been interested in building one, just never had the time or the money. I was wandering if anyone could give me an idea of how good the computer components I have been looking are and whether or not they are compatible. I would also appreciate it if anyone could give me an estimation on how efficient these components will be for gaming. I will be playing games like team fortress 2, Witcher 3, Fallout 4 so It would really help if anyone could tell me if the components I have chosen will be up to par for these games. Here are the components. Components: Rosewill Computer Case - CHALLENGER - ATX Mid Tower - Black, Gaming - Three Included Fans - Two Extra Side Fans Supported GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0) AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz (4.1 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W FD6300WMHKBOX Desktop Processor EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti SC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card 02G-P4-3753-KR HyperX FURY 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Memory Model HX316C10FB/8 WD Blue 1TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD10EZEX - OEM Standard Return Policy EVGA 100-W1-500-KR 500W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Continuous Power Supply Intel 4th Gen CPU Ready I'm obviously on a budget and I'm trying not to break the bank. If anyone can give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it. -greaser561
