  1. See, that's what I thought at first. However I checked all my processes and seen nothing of the sort.
  2. Somewhat better results. But still feels very sluggish compared to conventional SSDs. I forgot to add that this PC was just built today.
  3. According to ASUS its running on x4 PCIe. Ill run crystal disk and see what's going on.

  5. Probably not, I've heard the expression before and with me being a natural smartass I thought it was funny.
  6. Went wild with the EVGA psu because back in 2013 I got a thermaltake 1000w that was pure junk. So I went for a higher price PSU in hopes for better quality. (childish logic, I know.)
  7. I don't know for sure. I'm fairly certain it runs off PCIe. Read something somewhere about overpopulating PCI slots would make the M.2 not work. I'm probably wrong though.
  8. Thanks, I'll downgrade the CPU then. Apart from the mobo, what is crazy expensive?
  9. True, but won't the M.2 SSD take up some lanes as well?
  10. I thought about that, but I was kind of wanting the 40 lanes just in case I decide to add another graphics card. That's why I'm looking at the overkill PSU.
  11. Apparently I tabbed to the submit button by accident. Check again lol.
  12. Hello everyone, I am new here and was wanting some opinions on my build.
