  1. @blu4 @ItsTheDuckAgain I have turned off in BIOS that any USB can wake up the system. "After power loss..." was set to "Power Off" Should I change "Wake up event by" from BIOS to OS?
  2. I will try that with BIOS, since I have already tried with all the cables disconnected and no luck.
  3. For last few weeks my PC has been waking itself up after being put to sleep for reason I can't pinpoint and it is driving me mad. I have tried every solution I could find without any lack. Event log always claims that the reason is unknown. I have disable basically everything in Device Manager from being able to wake up the PC (except keyboard, but when I use keyboard to wake up the PC I got all the information that it was keyboard in a wright way). I went to registry, I have disabled network card from being able to do that, I have been checking every device plugged in (by unplugging it and seeing if that helps), I have changed power plan to never allow wake up events etc. - no luck! PC mostly wakes up up to 2 minutes after I put it to sleep and will keep waking up if I put it to sleep again. 2 minutes is not a rule though, it can be 15 minutes or even few hours. If I restart the PC before putting it to sleep then for 90% of the time it will stay asleep, but even that is not the rule. I thought it could be some application, but I wasn't able to determine any link between the app and waking up. I keep my PC generally clean (2 months ago I formatted it), I have pretty basic programs/games ans setup as well. This is what I have: MSI Z87-G43 mobo Intel i5-4670K @4.5GHz (I have also tried disabling the OC and putting bios to its default state, did not help - and BIOS has the newest version) Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming (no OC) 2 SSDs - one Samsung 850 EVO where the System is located and one older Kingston HyperX for files 2x 8GB HyperX RAM (no OC) Windows 10 (upgraded from a genuine copy of 7) I keep my PC really clean and temperatures low. I keep my software updated, Windows included. I feel pretty powerless at this point and this is why I am reaching out to you guys - I really hope that I will find help here, cause in other parts of Internet I did not. I am attaching 3 screenshots, if you need anything more, please let me know. Thank you!
  4. I will probably get Gigabyte G1 1070 very soon (still thinking about 1080). My work is not GPU hungry (most important is RAM for my VMs).
  5. @Purp_Skurp I had single 4K monitor for quite a while and I am completely aware that most games can't be run in 4K or even 1440p on my 970. Purpose of this topic was to determine if I can smoothly run two 4K monitors NOT IN GAMES. I have buying 1080 (or 1070) in plans for quite some time now but and it is not a budget problem - I simply find it hard to justify to buy something I won't be really using. The only games I have played in last months wouldn't benefit from faster GPU.
  6. @Gonio @potatoproduction @deXxterlab97 @adithyay328 @Sreno1 @Abyss Gaming I bought this monitor anyway (with having in mind that if it does not work as intended I will just buy 1070 or 1080 few weeks earlier) but it does work really nice on my 970! Double 4K, smooth 60Hz and all. Of course we are talking here about work apps and Internet/movie usage not gaming but that shouldn't be surprising. Thank you all for help!
  7. According even to manufacturer itself one 4k is max for this card. What are people using then for triple 4k setups?
  8. That is one of the reasons I keep changing my mind. "You do not need so much, get 1070 at best". "970 is sufficient" "1080Ti is a must" - it changes. I have hard time deciding with anything, really
  9. Yeah, I know this is not for gaming, I mean for normal Windows work, heaviest load would be Civ 6 in 4k and Google Chrome on other screen.
  10. I am planning to get 1080 but waiting just for new Intel i7 to roll out to get it all at once. Right now I have i5-4670K and I am not sure if it is worth it to put such GPU in current build. Also nowadays I play mostly Civ (5 and now 6) so not so oGPu heavy, but two monitors are a must to perform my work, and I just like the sharpness and quality of this LG 4k screens.
  11. I was just about to buy my second LG 27UD68-W, then it hit me - can my Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 actually run smoothly two 4k monitors at absolutely stable 60Hz? Mostly I use it for work (some VMs, a lot of Chrome, VLC videos) and sometimes gaming (Civ 6 on one screen and Chrome on other would be desired, of course in 60Hz). I know that my card has 3 DP in it, but was it meant for smooth two 4k displays? I want to make sure before I spend this money. Thank you in advance for your answers!
  12. Still, I would prefer something with build in microphone - can you recommend anything like this?
  13. I have been using Logitech G930 for quite some time now, but due to some trouble and other reasons I want to get a new headset. Naturally I thought about getting G933, seems like a nice successor. But maybe there is something better for that price (or a little bit more). What I need is a headset not worse than G930. Good wireless qualities, sound and (due to me professionally working with clients over this headset and microphone) I need a good microphone, the one on G930s I consider quite good, so just nothing worse than that, but better is welcomed. Some people recommended me Razer or SteelSeries Sibera, but I just don't know much about headsets in general. So if you have any suggestions/recommendations please feel free to share them with me
  14. Got Razer headset and a new laptop that has only one audio input (see pictures). Is it possible to have some kind of adapter that will allow me to use both headphones and a microphone without any loss in quality? I know that there are standards like CTIA and OMTP, but I don't know what is my laptop input and the headset itself, and I also don't know what kind of adapter I need. Any help really appreciated
  15. I even opened it up, cause to me it seems like a physical problem (no light, no detection of any kind), but it looks fine to me. On the other hand I don't really know what should i look for.
  16. How am I supposed to install drivers without this device being detectable? I have 4 files (.bin, twice .us and one .sys), what to do with them?
