First of all I would like to make it clear this is not a complaint, just something strange. So I was watching the latest LTT video on floatplane and I had to leave for a while so I left the tap in safari open. When I came back to it a little while later instead of the video there was some add for “office online for google chrome”. In the player. This struck as weird so I screen recorded it. Once I reloaded the page it was back to the normal content. Was wondering if anyone else had this happen and what might have caused it?

I made a Minecraft server! it's completely vanilla. I would like to see if people can actually join it as a test, although you can play on it if you want, I will try to join if anyone ells dose. it should be open 24 hours a day for at least a few days. if no one ever joins it I will probably shut it down, or just play on it myself. ok, so I got amazon too accept my return (could be because we order things like every day) so ill have about 170 to spend on a card, what would you recommend, I was looking at a 1050ti........ is this card powerful enough to run a triple A tital and record video?

I'll get right to the point on this one: I would like to record gameplay to post to YouTube of games like Just Cause 3 and MW3, But when I start recording in 1080p I get bad lag and have to turn it to 720p or lower. I was wondering if investing in a capture card would solve this problem? If so I would like some recommendations on specific cards. I see that some coast sub-$50 and some cost more that $150, whats the difference and what one if any should I get? so I recently bought a pair of AKG k545's and they are great, the only thing I'm wandering is if they could be better. I am currently running a MSI 970 gaming motherboard that seems to have good onboard audio, I was wondering whether I should spring for a external DAC/amp or go with a sound card, or just stick with the onboard AUDIO? Any suggestions?

I also use a program called CAM to monitor temps, that monitors socket temp right?

Building a custom component tester... plan to sent up this way...cpu (Linux) to beaglebone to motor control board to NEMA 23 2.8A stepper motor. The motor will rotate the component at specific degrees (7.5). The beaglebone will gather the signal data (low voltage signal) on 16 pins (channels). Writing custom coding for the beaglebone to save (map) the signal data and compare it to a saved baseline. Any suggestions on doing this the simplest / cheapest way possible? I'm struggling especially with finding a simple plug-n-play usb motor controller / driver. so I recently bought a LEPA 120 all-in-one water cooler and used an push-pull fan config am running a 6300k and managed to overclock it to 4.6gh. the temp at idle is around 30c, and under 100% lode it never goes above 55c. I was wondering if these are good temps and if I should try to push the processor further?
