  1. The TV doesn't pass-through DTS audio, but yes, I went as to how I had it in the beginning, shield to the tv and then all DTS audio being reencoded.
  2. I had a Nvidia shield connected to my tv (Lg c1) and match resolution/refresh rate was enabled for 1080p 23.997 fps, it worked perfectly fine, all of this using Kodi as media player with SDR content. I recently got a Samsung q700c, since the tv doesn't pass-through DTS, I connected the shield to the soundbar, which is connected to the earc port on the tv. For some reason, all refresh rates under 50hz disappeared for 1080p in the shield, even when they are available for 4k, although matching refresh rate doesn't seem to work anymore for 4k. ¿Is this normal/expected? this is the only mention to video passthrough I could find in the manual (AH81-16776B-00_FM_HW-Q930C Q800C Q700C_ZC_L02_230213.0.pdf (samsung.com) ) any idea is appreciated, thanks
  3. I'm trying to replicate the Shields 2019 tv pro "AI upscaller - low" on a more powerful device, I already own the shield, but I'm not happy with the general performance of it within Kodi (Mainly menu stuttering when navigating, video playing is fine). I've read the lanczos algorithm is very similar, the device upgrade would be to something like a r58x in terms of performance, the main goal is to be able of not depending on the shield for this kind of things and to explore more upscaller alternatives. thanks for any tip about this!
