  1. Today got a Clock_watchdog_timeout bsod.
  2. I'll leave computer on for the night with defender off and usually in the morning the computer has frozen or freezes after couple hours. I'm currently trying this:
  3. I'm indeed waiting for new components and I also have 550w PSU which is enough but much lower quality than the EVGA one. I do have installed AI suite 3 and I use it for Fan xpert mostly I chose not to install anything else than what was needed for Fan Xpert to work. I've tried uninstalling the program totally and the freezing still occured, however I haven't thought about uninstalling Daemontools which I will do now. I will also try unplugging internet, I don't have antivirus programs other than Windows Defender. Thanks a lot for the information I'm really lost with the problem I've tried so many hardware related things like switching sata cables etc.
  4. i7-6700k gtx 750ti evga 750w supernova g2 2x8gb 2666mhz ddr4 hyperx Asus z170 pro gaming 1tb hdd ssd 250gb 850 samsung Windows 10 My computer freezes by itself and has to be shutdown using the powerbutton, lights on mouse/keyboard are visible. This freeze occurs while gaming or even in desktop. This happens once or twice every day. Newest bios 1206 and it has been reset. Tested with another PSU same result. Made HDD so that it doesn't go to sleep. Tried with manual 1.2v for CPU. Voltage rails are all good with no fluctuating. Connections to the motherboard and psu are good. Computer isn't overheating. Memory has been tested. Windows has been formatted. I probably forgot something but that's what I've tried
  5. Hey, now after weeks they've agreed to pay me back my money, or give me 100 euro gift card and the computer back. I chose the money cause they dont seem to know as much as i originally thougth they did..
  6. Hey, thanks for all the answers I just wanted to know the temperature cause of a company that built a computer for me is saying that AMD hasn't given an exact number for the FX-8370 for its safe operating temperature. They don't trust the temperature i gave them (61,1c) and they say its fine to run at 71c+. It is true that the chip can run with higher temperatures but I want the chip to last as long as possible. Even if the higher temperatures do not cause any damage to the chip I still want to be under the factory limit.
  7. Hello, What is the max safe operating temperature of the processor FX-8370? I got an answer from AMD's support site saying: "Response and Service Request History: As I understand that you wish to know the maximum safe operating temperature for FX-8370 processor. If I have missed out any critical information on your email please get back to me as my suggestions may change. But do not worry as am here to help you. I confirm you that maximum safe operating temperature of FX-8370 processor is 61.1°C. Please refer below link to know more about FX-8370 processor. http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-FX-Series%20FX-8370.html AMD Global Customer Care" But can that be trusted 100%?
  8. Is there any reason to wait for the r9 400 series cards?
  9. GPU: Asus AMD R9 390 DirectCuII, 8GB GDDR5 CPU: Intel Skylake i7-6700K, LGA1151, 4GHz, 8MB, Boxed Memory: Kingston 8GB(2x4GB) HyperX Fury DDR4 2400MHz, CL15 Mobo: Asus Z170-A, LGA1151, Intel Z170, DDR4, ATX SSD: Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD -levy, 2.5", SATA III, 540/520 MB/s Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro PSU: Corsair 650W. Would this build work with the 650w PSU or does it need a bigger one? Is there something I could tweak for better performance (in the same price range as the original part)?
  10. It'll take till probably thursday/friday for them to get the computer after I send it tomorrow, I'll inform this topic how this all ends up ofc. Having every fan 100% doesnt help the heat issue so better fan curves wont really help. I assumed they would know more about computers due to the amount of people ordering from them, but I've come to realise that I'm wrong. I honestly think that its just that the normal fans arent cutting it and changing them would help the issue, but if they change the fans and it starts working as intented they've sold me a faulty PC. That's when I can get my money back cause it's against the law here to do that. How I assume this all will work out is, me sending my computer to them and I'll get a response from them that they've sent me the money back that I paid for the computer. (hopefully)
  11. Hello, There's no actually warranty that denies me from opening the case and cleaning the dust since its a company that makes custom built computers. The computer is dust free and so are the filters, this computer already went to RMA and it came back from them and they told me the heat is gone. However when i started gaming the heat started rising to 70°C+ this is when i contacted them again and they say its normal, and that AMD hasn't given a max safe temp for the 8370. After I talked to AMD I emailed the company this "I confirm you that maximum safe operating temperature of FX-8370 processor is 61.1°C" After that message they told me to send the computer back to them and that was few days ago so I still have the computer with me but I'll send it to them tomorrow. It's a really twisted story.
  12. Thanks for answering, I've done this temperatures still raise over the 61,1°C that AMD has given as a safe maximum temperature for the processor. I'm not as screwed as you might think cause of the law in my country about selling and advertising products. So since this doesnt run even with fans at 100% we can all agree on that they've made a mistake and sold me an faulty computer? This computer was advertised as a powerful and quiet gaming computer which it really isnt if you have to run GPU at 100% fan speed.
  13. CM B600 PSU 8gb HyperX fury, DDR3 1600MHz M5A97 R2.0 R9 285 Strix Cooler Master Silencio 550 FX-8370 (True Spirit 120m) Hello, My computer overheats up to 71°C+ for the CPU. Also my GPU heats up to 96°C and this happens while gaming not synthetic tests. This changes to CPU 48°C, GPU 75°C while opening the sidepanel of the case. My problem is that this is a prebuilt computer and the case has fans that it came with installed (one in front and one in the back). I'm not allowed to change these cause of warranty reasons, the company that built this computer says that this is optimized to work with the current setup. So my question is, can this setup ever work with the fans that came with the case and no extra cooling? The card and 8370 just output so much heat that I personally think that i'd need to use better fans to gain lower temperature. If im right how could I prove the company that this current setup cant work without better fans?
