  1. How...? Remember, I'm a noob here - still learning
  2. Well, the Microsoft store was one of the apps that's removed when following the page i linked to
  3. Hi there forum I've just installed win10 on my new pc, and I removed all the default apps, as seen here: https://thomas.vanhoutte.be/miniblog/delete-windows-10-apps/ But there is a few apps that i would actually like to have (calculator, photo viewer and so on) How do i reinstall those apps without getting all of them back? Hope that you guys know what to do, 'cause i'm all new to selfbuild pc stuff
  4. Hi there forum I've just installed win10 for my newly build pc, and my good old f-secure isn't working on anything above win7 ( I got it from my school back in the days, it could be used on several pc's) so i would like to know which free antivirus you guys think is the best. - I hope this is usefull for more people than just me.
  5. I've made a little research and found that the performance increase with raid 0 isn't to notice unless you transfer bigger files (correct me if i'm wrong) and that the device you're transfering from/to has to be able to work at the same speed. So I decided to set up as two separate drives - though at first my pc could "see" the drive in disk management, but i couldn't use it - fixed that, but what should i call the drive? (not that it matters)
  6. So at this point there are two against and one for RAID 0...Would i be able to just combine the two drives, so the system sees them as one or woulld that just be silly?
  7. Hi I've now built my first pc and i've decided to use two 256gb mx100 ssd drives, no HDD, as 512gb is enough for me, at this point atleast. So I would like to ask the best community, which "set up" would be the best when using two 256gb ssd drives. I want the full capacity of my drives - 512gb is enough, but i can't do less. I store all my documents in the sky. So far, i store all my pictures (the ones i got on my phone) in the sky, and my videos (only what i've recorded with my gopro) are always stored on my external hdd. Which raid should i use? Is it better to just use them as two separate drives? I hope you guys got some answers for a noob.

    Fan don't fit

Hi there guys I've just bought my hardware for my first pc - finaly. Though i ran into a small problem... My fans, ph-140hp, are as big as a 140mm fan, obviously, but the mounting holes are the same as 120mm fans, which is didn't notice until i was about to install it. This means that when i want to have two 140mm intake fans i the front of my s340, which supports either dual 140mm or dual 120mm, it doesn't fit. If i try to mount them in the 120mm holes there isn't enough room for both since those holes are closer together, and at the same time they can't be mounted in the 140 holes. I've tried to find an adapter like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995076 - but this will block off some of the airflow sine the fan itself is 140mm. Does anyone here know what i can possibly do - it would really hurt to be forces to drill new holes in the case... I hope that some of all the bright minds in here know what to do.
