I just bought a new case (Thermal Master TC-102 by Cooler Master) that came with a 500-watt power supply.
I put the following components in the case:
-Foxconn G31MX-K Motherboard
-Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
-4GB (2x2GB) of DDR2 RAM
-WD 640GB Hard Drive
-CD-ROM
-AMD Radeon HD 7750 2GB DDR3 Graphics Card
When I power the system on the CPU, PSU, and system fan powers on. The GPU fan turns on for half a second, then stops. Some of the USB ports work on the front and back. The hard drive light shows that the hard drive is not working. Since the GPU does not power on, there is nothing on the display. When I replace the 500-watt power supply with a 335-watt power supply, the system works fine again.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
