As we all know the AMD3+ socket is really old compared to Intel's line up. I was wondering if everyone who has a AMD3+ socket would be able to get a socket converter so they won't need a new motherboard. I thought this would be cool because most AMD users have the FX lin up cpus so this would be easy on us.

And if anyone wants your facts.

I can make a model of your setup, and of course it won't be perfect but give you a idea. Just tell me your items and devices and desk and include the way you want it arranged. I can sent it to you via email on this forum (I prefer to send it on this forum for safety issues). I built my first PC yesterday and I am having trouble installing drivers for my motherboard and CPU My motherboard has special features which I want to use but none will install anyone have the same problem? Motherboard- Asus M5A97 R2.0 CPU- AMD FX 6300 Also I get a error message when I boot that says "CPU Fan Error" even though the Fan is working.

So could I do desktop gaming on steam. And run regular games that would run on windows 8.1

I was wondering if I can play normal games that are on windows 8.1 on windows 8.1 embedded. Please don't say windows embedded is not for normal use I KNOW THAT. All I want is the know if normal games on windows are compatible with windows 8.1 embedded.

With windows 8.1 industry pro will I be able to game on it. See I got it in Microsoft dream sparks for free and I can drop another $100 for jsut and OS

I have Windows embedded 8.1 pro, what is the differnce between this and regular windows 8.1

I first burned my OS onto a cd then notice that I don't have a CD drive to install on my future custom PC. Then I tried to burn onto a USB which I then tested onto my current pc and it failed to launch the windows installation splash screen when I selected to boot it. I got my ISO and key from a service for students called dream sparks (Click here to see). The image of windows is 8.1 industry pro. I am currently trying to install a copy of windows media creation tool from Microsoft but I don't know which version to use because my key only works with industry pro which is not listed on the creation tool program. I would order a CD drive but it will come later then the parts.

Ok, to set a point out the gtx 760 is going to possible be a r9 380x. Also I want AMD so I can have more cores, overclock and do better multitasking.
