  1. Sorry for the late update, guys. i've gone with corsair 400c.
  2. whats the difference between h170 and b150?
  3. I've been asked to put together a system for AutoCAD (no 3D) purpose, no overclocking, nothing too fancy. That's what i have come up with: CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X 82.9 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: Asus H170M-PLUS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: SeaSonic 450W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply Total: $536.58 i think is good enough. what do you think?
  4. I'm still not convinced about buying a mastercase pro 5. It looks cool and all, but are the straps on the back enough for cable management? What other cases on similar or lower price point would you recommend, excluding the Define R5, Define S, Enthoo pro since i don't have access to them
  5. If you already have experience in C programming then you should start or continue with C. Learn the basics as almost everything in C has to be done manually like implementing a linked list. Once you feel you've reached a limit on what you can do in C, you can move to an object oriented language like Java, C++, etc. If you want a very low level machine programming you can learn Assembly.
  6. X99 deluxe is above my budget. Is there any difference between x99-a and x99-a/usb3.1 other than two usb3.1 ports?
  7. I'm building a x99 gaming and programming rig and i cant realy choose a mobo. Initially i was gonna get asus x99-a/usb3.1 but its not available at the retail. So which motherboard do you think is best out of the following: Asus x99-a Msi x99a sli plus Msi x99a mpower Gigabyte ga-x99-ud3 Gigabyte ga-x99-ud3p Gigabyte ga-x99-ud4 Gigabyte ga-x99-sli In terms of overcloackability, stability, sound, and preferebly with usb 3.1. I plan on 5820k with a single gtx 980 ti and 650w psu. Thanks.
  8. 650w is not enough when under load it eats 685w and i dont want sudden shutdowns.
  9. I'm building a gaming/ programming pc with the intention of overclocking a 5820k to 4.5Ghx and gtx 980 ti to 1500 mhz at best So far i thought m12ii 750w psu is gonna be enough, but a few psu calculators show that the usage will around 700w. My question is: If at load I'm not over 750w, should i get a 850w psu or not? Here's the build plan: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xYBr99 Here's the results: http://outervision.com/b/ccNRHz
  10. what about adding another card for SLI in the future? This way it will have to be a 980 ti which is at least 1.3 times more expansive than 980
  11. I have another question kinda regarding GPU. As of now I'm getting a gtx 980 windforce 3x and k95 rgb keyboard. Should I get a gtx 980 ti g1 gaming instead of 980 windforce and k95 rgb (since the budget for k95 and 980 windforce fits a 980 ti g1 cost), although i kinda-sorta will have another mechanical keyboard but not as good as k95. What do you guys think?
  12. Is there a big difference between gtx 980 windforce 3x oc and gtx 980 g1 gaming? Does the g1 gaming worth the extra cost, or I just pay extra for the backplate?
  13. Should i get the mention gtx970 g1 gaming or the more expansive gtx980 windforce? In terms of performance, value and futureproofing- adding another such card for sli, etc...
