Well m.2 can also be used in a pcie adapter, which I am currently using in raid 0 with the onboard m.2 slot. I am just curious if I can add up to 2 more m.2 drives at full speed and gpu at x16 -
On a Maximus VIII Extreme Z-170 what is the maximum number of M.2 NVME drives this motherboard is capable of? I am using a GTX 1080 in one of the pcie slots. Also considering any loss of performance if the drives are sharing pcie lanes.
