    I did, I only have 2 slots for RAM, and they are the same stick with the same timmings and speed.

    Hello, So recently I bought another 8gb stick of RAM to upgrade my system. For some reason when I installed it It capped all my games at 85fps. I used to get upwards of 100fps in most games like CSGO, OW, and R6 I have tried re re seating both RAM sticks, Changing their spots on the mobo and I have XMP enabled in the BIOS setting, I have also tried to check If I had a bad stick of ram, but when I tried using only 8gb I was still capped at 85fps. Right Now I'm currently Running an Ryzen 3 2200G, GTX 1060 6gb Dual from Asus, and 16gb of Balistix Sport RAM rated at 2400mhz. Is there a fix for this or is it a bottle necking issue? Here's the screenshot of my Task manager If it helps.

    So, I'm planning on adding more RAM to my system, Currently it has 1X8GB stick of Balistix DDR4, and I was wondering if I could mix RAM brands since some brands have cheaper 8gb sticks. I just want to know if it's possible to mix different brands?
