  1. Yeah, I use it every day with a Bluetooth adapter. There should be no issues, it's really strange.
  2. A couple of weeks ago, I upgraded to the Galaxy S20 FE, and I bought a usb-c to aux adapter so I could use my car speakers with my phone. Sadly, my phone doesn't even recognize the speakers/adapter when plugged into my car, but it works just fine when I use headphones or my studio monitors. The adapter that I purchased is capable of driving even my HD 599s, which have a much higher impedance than the adapter claims to be able to handle. I've tested with two different cars, and many headphones- and it seems like it's a car-specific problem. Is there some general rule I'm not picking up on or is this probably just some minute compatibility difference. If it is, I can send the exact adapter and car speakers I'm taking about to continue the conversation (it's just not convenient for me to do so right now, so I'll hold off on getting the specifics.) Thanks for any contributions to the conversation :)
  3. Hi! I just installed BetterDiscord and I've been looking for a way to get the same background effect for my Spotify client I have on my third monitor. I was hoping we could gather up a list of applications that are either alternative Spotify clients that allow you to change the background or applications that can key a color out of an application, because my wallpaper is the same as my BetterDiscord background image. I attached an image of what BetterDiscord looks like to give an idea of what I'm looking for (The image is from Nomad of Nowhere)
  4. Hi. When trying to play Star Citizen in particular, my GPU usage goes down to .01% and I get <1FPS. This only happens in the online universe portion of the game, the hangar works fine, getting 1080p60FPS at medium graphics. I was wondering if this is how RAM bottlenecking is being represented, and that's the problem. I've tried several fixes like prioritizing the game, changing NCP settings, and more to try to get it to work, but as soon as I join that universe, it just immediately goes down to under 1% usage. Is this my RAM? i5 6500 8GB DDR4 2133MHz HyperX Fury EVGA GTX 1060 3GB
  5. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5000, but not the i5 model which is capable of using the Dell Active Stylus. There is no digitizer in this model. Are there any styluses, maybe something for a tablet or other touchscreen device, that are able to write well on the screen of this computer? Link to the computer for reference: http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-laptops/inspiron-15-5000-2-in-1/spd/inspiron-15-5578-2-in-1-laptop/dncwsb0013h
  6. I found the fix I think. I capped my framerate in DBD to 60. When I tab in, it would take up a huge amount of extra resources and eat up all of my GPU's power. I'm now getting 60 and everything. We're good.
  7. Oh btw my PC: -i5 6500 -EVGA 1060 3GB -8GB DDR4 2133MHz HyperX Fury -B150M-C Asus Mobo -Some 500 watt PSU from my local computer store -WD Blue 1TB
  8. When I'm tabbed out of Dead by Daylight, OBS runs everything at a nice, smooth, 720p60. It shows up as 60FPS in the counter in the bottom right corner, the preview in in 60FPS, and the actual stream is in 60FPS. When I tab into DBD, however, it drops down to ~15FPS. I'm running 60 in DBD, have high priority on OBS, and am not even maxing out my CPU or RAM. Is there a setting somewhere in Windows that will change this?
  9. I want to change Vegas's colors to something that doesn't look like windows 98 without making my whole computer a steaming heap of high contrast suffering. Is there any way to do this?
  10. Is there a software that I could plug an audio file into and get an audio visualization out of? I don't want to have to screen record it or anything. The plan is the use it to make a podcast, and with files lasting over half an hour for four people, I just want to make different files that I can attach to the audio files in Premiere for later editing. Is there a software for that?
  11. So in this Youtube video by Benchy: What is this effect? I believe it's from Vegas. Is there a way I can recreate it in Premiere? (If you can't tell there's an effect just look at another TF|2 video, there's an obvious difference. Sorry if I didn't put this in the right subject area.
  12. Love the sarcasm. Genuinely though, this is a doable thing which people use, and I don't want to spend money on a webcam when I can just do this. Is this an issue with the amount of cables, the capture device, the camera, the software compatibility, the drivers...?
  13. Why can't I use a well-divided peanut-butter cookie as a keyboard?
  14. So I want to use a webcam while I stream, and I have a Panasonic HC-V550. I don't have a webcam, but I have the necessary stuff to plug this into my computer and run it. I have it outputting to AV, which is transferred to white and yellow cables, which are going through an EasyCap which transfers them to USB, which is then plugged into the back of my computer. OBS recognizes the camera, but when I start a preview it just flickers a fuzzy, static green once then turns into a black box. What does this signify? Will this problem persist if I use a mini-HDMI cable?
  15. So this doesn't 100% belong in the audio category, but I have a question about Android phones. I don't have a field recorder, and want to use my LG G3 as one. I have a Blue Yeti, and wanted to know if I could use an adapter to plug it in, and record to my phone from it. Do I need to use a special app, or a special adapter (not just USB A to MicroUSB), and can I even do this in the first place? Thanks for the help
  16. I did it, and made a poorly edited YouTube video about it. Going viral 2016
  17. Exactly these, but by e-joy. https://www.amazon.com/e-joy-E-joy-Music-Dancing-Speakers/dp/B01A1F94GY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1482268361&sr=8-2&keywords=water+speakers+ejoy
  18. So I have some water speakers, the $10 kind from Walmart. I got them as a Christmas gift, and they're pretty cool. As expected, though, the audio quality isn't very good, and I already have some half decent speakers. I was wondering if there was a safe and practical way to remove the "speaker" part of the inside so that I could listen to music through my headphones, and have the water jumping without disturbing my whole family. Main questions: -Is it safe? -Is it possible at all? -Is it reasonable to try it, or should I just not worry about it and ignore this idea entirely Thanks for any help. I'm going to be busy for the next couple of days, so I'll be back in the conversation in a bit. Meanwhile, you guys can work your magic and come to a concensus.
  19. Ah so you didn't mean the card as a whole, you meant the processor. Alright, I catch your drift.
  20. Mhm my friend got a Vive and a 480 the other day. He says everything he's tried works fine. I would have to get a Rift because I don't have that money lying around lol but I was thinking that in a little while. I just Was looking for more power in my regular day because I know this season won't bring me the highest settings 1080p60 anymore, which I'm sure the 480 will do.
