  1. so i'm assuming when you say around $100 you mean CAD. I think Startech in Daka has GT 1030 for that price range for 7700 taka if that helps
  2. GPU are easier to move in the used market if all else fails. So I'd say go with the better GPU and build a System decent enough to not bottleneck. Ram Speed and channels do play a factor in gaming/performance but id say as long as it gets get job done DDr3 might be sufficient for your needs at this stage. but that's not a bad starter system just to figure out how to get the best out of your system by tuning and learning the fine details of system building and everything else that comes with it.
  3. to be honest....amd might be a better bang for your buck option...especially if you trying to be competitive and no have a huge budget. your best might be a combination of used and new parts. the FX series with DDR3 (16 gb) should be very get able in your price range. Then the other components can all be new as you can use them again in future build once you've familiarized yourself with "beginner" stages of build, pc gaming etc. You reuse your Power supply, Case, Fan, Coolers Etc once youve got a better budget down the line and you wouldn't be losing much in resell value if you are buying the CPU and DDR3 anyways. Hope it helps
