  1. Yeah, no dice. Used a screwdriver to connect the two and when that didn't work, took out the battery, nothing.
  2. Hi, I was going to try and help my brother with something, but when I went to turn on his computer, it uh, never actually booted. Not sure what he did, but I can't get into the boot menu or anything. Anyone have any ideas?
  3. Haven't, thinking about it though, might've accidentally downloaded some shitty network manager driver... Killer Gigabit e2200 or some nonsense.
  4. Hi, So for a while now, my computer has been slowing down the more I use it throughout the day, resulting in me restarting it so it doesn't crash or freeze uncontrollably while I play some game that isn't necessarily super easy to run for one reason or another. Additionally and more annoying is the fact that my computer when downloading or installing anything large slows down insanely and doesn't change until I restart it, going from smooth to Windows literally crashing and the computer being indefinitely frozen. I've also noticed because of this, the download speed tanks, going anywhere from a steady 18-20 mbps to literally 10 kbps. Any help on this issue would be great, as it's hampering my very use of my computer. My specs are mostly listed below. I've had this computer since 2016. i5 4690k EVGA GTX 1070 g.Skill DDR3 1600 mhz 2x4 EVGA 750w PSU
  5. Hopefully its like a possum and it'll resurrect, right
  6. So, I've had my SAPPHIRE R9 390 for about two years now, and months ago, it started having the issue of random blackscreens and blackscreens on post. Now, power won't feed into it, even if I change the PCI slot. Can anyone help me out with this issue?
  7. Can anyone find a tutorial to reinstall one of these CPUs? And do I need to use the plastic cover to reinstall it? And, if anyone wants to help me out with the problem, I can get them a picture in a bit.
  8. Though, looking at pictures of other CPUs and other retention plates, I don't see them hooked either.. I'll try flipping the computer up and see if the CPU is held in place.
  9. I think I know the problem. There are two very small hooks at the basis of the retention arm. They don't seem to be hooked to that basis.
  10. Update, got the RAM installed, turns out I wasn't using enough force. And I think I've done the same thing to the CPU retention plate thingy, but I think its broken. I'll keep on trying to pull it down until some kinda pressure is emitted or whatever.
