  1. Thank you guys, I will try Monday morning when I get into the office.
  2. Awesome thanks, I have kind of fallen away from the whole desktop scene since I don't ever really do anything anymore with them. It's all servers and virtual desktops.
  3. It's a desktop. My PSU is 500w I am upgrading to 650w soon. Budget is 200-250.
  4. Right now, Garry's Mod World of Warcraft CS:GO Path of Exile Diablo 3
  5. Hello, my name is Blake. I am still running the onboard Intel HD 3000...I don't want something fancy or expensive. I don't really play many graphic intensive games. I just need something that will be better than the onboard graphics I am using now...
  6. Hello, my name is Blake. I am currently trying to transfer VMs from XenServer to ESXi and I am having no luck. I have the vhd's converted over to vmdks. But when I try to import them into the VM on ESXi it just instantly boots to PXE and won't go pass there. Everywhere I have looked tells me to do the steps I am doing..but I am having zero luck. Anyone know what could be causing the issue?
  7. I have no idea what the issue was. It works perfectly fine now. I literally only walked away from it for like 10-15 minutes and went to the 1st floor to see how things were going and came back up and it started connecting again.
  8. I am not able to access it from the web interface. I can ping to the server from the laptop and from the server to the laptop..also from the ESXi server to the XenServer. But can't connect to the ESXi server from the VSphere interface or web interface.
  9. ====Posted in Troubleshooting also==== ====Sorry, still trying to figure out this forum==== Hey, My name is Blake. Currently the company I am working for is wanting to move from XenServer to VMware. I have it set up currently in a lab environment to try to make sure exporting from XenServer and importing to VMware is going to work the way I want it too since we are doing the move on Easter weekend. I was able to connect to VSphere just fine the other day and now I'm getting an error stating it's not able to connect do to a timeout issue. I have rebooted both the server and laptop I am working with and they are on the management VLAN I created. Anyone know any thing to fix this? I could also just fresh install the ESXi install.

  11. I was going to get four sticks of that ram I linked too get 16GB. I'll have to look at the PSU. If all else fails with this I can just turn it into s file server so I can make sure my web development files are backed up.
  12. Hello, My name is Blake. I've been kind of digging into making a gaming PC out of some old Xeon E5410 CPUs. CPU: Intel Xeon E5410 x2 Motherboard: Intel CPU-S5000SL Heat Sink: Intel Xeon Fan x2 RAM: Dataram 63356 DDR2 4GB PC2 5300 Registered ECC 667Mhz x4 I am still looking at finding a reasonable priced PSU and looking around to see if I can find a chassis I can fit the motherboard into, any tips on this I will be grateful for. Thank you.
