  1. Alright, so what voltage would you recommend to start with? 1.330V? Appreciate it.
  2. Hello there, i have a quick noob question for you guys. Alright so, I have a 6700k and this is my first time overclocking. I'm currently running on 4.5ghz and i ran stability test on AIDA64 with no errors. Now my question is, I haven't fiddled around with my voltages yet [meaning it is set on AUTO in bios]. So should i change the voltage or just let it be on Auto? During AIDA64 the average voltage was 1.329V (Max- 1.352, MIn- 1.320). Thanks a ton!
  3. I'm not in a hurry. So would it be wiser to wait for Gigabyte's xtreme gaming or EVGA's SSC?
  4. Hello everyone. Which 1060 would y'all Suggest for gaming, video editing and Photoshop? ROG strix is a bit pricey for me (in India). I'd like to buy one near 25k INR. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
  5. Hello people. Need a decent laptop in a few days. My minimum configuration - i7 6700HQ (or any other which has the same performance) 16gb RAM 1TB HDD SSD is not necessary but i don't mind if it's there. Windows 10 64 bit (Home or Pro whatever) My use for this laptop - First and foremost I am going to use this laptop for work, I need to use 2-3 Virtual Machines and Kali. Basically, need it for hacking. I know that an i5 processor should do the work, but I am going to use this laptop for quite some time, hence an i7. I am going to game of course with minimum 960m graphics and on 1080p resolution. And my budget - Preferably around 100K INR(Indian Rupees) ~ 1500USD Yes, I'm from India, and there are limited choices here. Any help is appreciated. Also, if you can recommend a better config and all, It will help greatly. Thank you all.
  6. I'll try Overclocking manually, I'll refer those guides you mentioned. According to you, what should be the temps @ 4.5ghz? If those are not what i achieve, I'll go down to 4.4 or less.
  7. Hello there. I recently built my first ever gaming PC, and obviously I'm new to Overclocking. My query is that when i OC my cpu to 4.4ghz using Game Boost (motherboard -msi z170a gaming m5) I'm getting 1.358v. Is this voltage safe? I did some digging around and found out that some people are having issues above 1.35+ volts. Please suggest me if I should Overclock or not. My complete build - http://pcpartpicker.com/list/7WhwVY [Haven't bought GPU yet]
  8. It didn't work. Switching off the psu should stop what? The fan?
  9. It's connected properly I'm sure of that. I tried powering it up using a screwdriver, is that the right method? What else can i check.
  10. I'm experiencing the worst one can possibly imagine. I assembled my pc. It worked fine. Didn't work the next day. Took it to my workplace, it started there. Brought it back home. Started at home again. Used perfectly for 3 days. And today again it's showing no sign of powering up like earlier. Can anyone please tell me what the hell is wrong with this pc? My configuration - http://pcpartpicker.com/list/8nVQzM Thanks in advance. I just want this to start.
  11. NZXT H440 is available and in my budget, it's like 8.5k INR here. The 212 Evo will get me 4.5ghz stable OC?
  12. Hello guys I'm building a new PC (my first build) and I'm kinda stuck on which case to buy. I'm from India and I CANNOT buy the Phanteks Enthoo Pro which would've been perfect. (Not Available) My budget would be around 8k INR. Aesthetics do matter to me. Here's the rest of my build - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zcmJzy Also, if you could suggest a better perhaps cheaper cooler to overclock 6700k to 4.6ghz stable and quiet, that would be great.(Air or liquid any will do) Thank you in advance. You guys are the best.
  13. I'm sorry forgot to mention I'm from India and 3000$(~200,000INR) and I don't think we get Razer laptops here. Sincere apologies.
