  1. Yeah I'll give that ago if nothing changes I'll just give Intel a call as it may be a dud chip lol. Thank you everyone for the advice
  2. Yeah that's what I thought but I don't dare push the chip I was tempted to ring Intel about it but wanted to check on here if anyone knew of anything, do you recommend I just tune the voltage down to something less? Maybe 1.25v?
  3. No, I have 2 140 Corsair AF Quiet Edition (Which are running on one header), Stock 120 exhaust then stock Be Quiet Silent Wing on the Cooler. I do have Ai Suite installed could that maybe be putting my voltages a little to high, it has an automatic overclock of 4.2ghz using the turbo boost which is on by defualt but even with it off the temps are the same strangely. Should I change the voltage manually or would that kill the 4.2ghz clock?
  4. Mandatory questions lol: 1. Yes double checked it recently 2. Had to remounted it using the Pea method so I should believe so 3. 100% yes The temps were not like this before it's only happened recently
  5. Hey, recently my temps have started spiking above the 50's and sometimes even 60's under about 12% load. I run an Asus Strix z270h with an Intel 6700k and a Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3. Is there any reason to why this has been happening. ps. I have tried re-mounted the Cooler and tried in a different case with no change in the results -.- Picture below to show
  6. My temps lucky sit and 23 idle and don't go above 40c while gaming
  7. Oh that's weird, It put it on Extreme Silent and I haven't had a issue so far, so touch wood it's fixed now Thanks for the all the suggestions!
  8. I just did fan tunning and this is what it done, as of right now, I'm worried if the thing is bloody on at this point lol
  9. I have just installed AI Suite some I'm going to play around a little to see if I can stop it. With a game running in the background and web browsing the voltage is about 0.700 to 0.850 V
  10. I have a i7-6700k paired with a ASUS Z170-A with a Cryorig Ultimate Cooler and the case fans are just stock that came with the fractal design define S w/ window
  11. So what is the method to stop that happening at all? I have set a custom curve with both DC and PWM but still wavers? I use 3 pins just in case that's any help
  12. Thanks for the description but i'm new to all the bios fan stuff so I didn't understand much of that but I know my fan spin up and spin down is set to 0ms or the lowest :\ sorry
  13. I don't really want to get an external controller if I don't have to as my case doesn't have optical bays
