  1. I will try using office online and see if she can find her way around in there
  2. It's a 64-bit version of Office 2016 and she is running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
  3. Hey everyone, this may be kind of an awkward question but I am looking for an easy to use program that allows archiving lots of images (mostly knitting instructions and such). The reason I am looking for something like this is, that my mother keeps complaining that Excel keeps crashing (the Excel sheet is about 60.000 rows long (and growing) and I have no idea how many pictures are in there). She is not very good at using the computer so the program needs to be easy to use (and explain) and she wants an easy way to view and categorize the images (I already told her she could simply use the file explorer, which I think is the best option to manage the huge amount of images, but her opinion on that is that she cannot see what kind of pictures are in each of the folders at a glance and therefor it is not suitable). I would really appreciate the help as I am tired of going over to her PC only to tell her that Excel has crashed once again. Thanks in advance
  4. Yeah I tried those but they seem to be compressed and show artifacts
  5. Hey everyone. Since the new Surface Devices by Microsoft are now available I have been looking for the default wallpapers of these devices. Sadly when searching for them on the internet they all seem to show compression artifacts. Therefore I would like to create this thread to collect all of these wallpapers in their uncompressed and original quality (Suggestions as to how this is done are appreciated). If you own a Surface device you can find the default wallpaper under C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\Surface. (Or at least I did on my Surface Laptop 3) To start I have uploaded mine (Surface Laptop 3 15" Black) Thanks in advance !!! Important !!! If you want the uncompressed quality you should download the zip file Surface Laptop 3 15 Inch Black.zip
  6. I have not tried your approach yet but the reason it happened with my monitors was that the one on the right(Asus VX24AH) is a 2560x1440 monitor but was set to 1920x1080 because of another problem i had which you can see here: This fixed the weird random screen tearing but caused the change in color (probably because of the upscaling or something). Fortunately the screen tearing is only present when the the monitor on my left (Asus PG248Q) is running on 144Hz and not on 120Hz or the 180Hz it can be overclock to. So currently I have my 2 monitors set up as follows: PG248Q 1920x1080@180Hz VX24AH 2560x1440@60Hz This fixed both of my problems.
  7. From my ISP I should get 5Mbps and It is VDSL2 I think
  8. Hello everyone, I am currently experiencing slow Upload Speeds (1.5 Mbps on average). What I really don't understand is that my router shows a DSL uplink speeds of around 3500 kbps, but whenever I try a speed test I only reach 1.6Mbps upload speed when I am lucky. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? Thanks in advance.
  9. This idea never crossed my mind but for now it seems to have solved the issue. I cannot say for sure since I haven't been trying it out for too long.
  10. The problem is only present when I use both monitors at those settings. If I use only the VX24AH at 2560x1440 at 60Hz it works just fine. I have already used a different power cable for the graphics card.
  11. Hello, I am currently trying to fix a problem with my monitor setup. I am using an ASUS PG248Q as my main monitor running at 1920x1080 144hz and an ASUS VX24AH as my secondary monitor running at 2560x1440 60hz. Ever so often the VX24AH experiences a weird problem. I have a gif attached that shows this (the problems happens once every 30 - 200 seconds). Things I have tried: Fresh Install of Windows Update Graphics Driver Switch out the cable Use a different port on the monitor/graphics card put the graphics card into another PCIe Slot Send the graphics card back and get a new one I have notices that the problem is not happening when I set the display resolution to 1920x1080 on my VX24AH but that's not something I really want to do. Does anyone know how to fix this or has experienced something similar? Thanks in advance
  12. That would be one way to "solve" this but I am still curious as to why this happens.
  13. Plus, the picture i provided at the top is a screenshot not made with a camera so if the monitors were at fault then both sides should be identical.
