  1. okay, thanks. but I do find it weird that it just spikes and I don't see a spike in cpu usage.
  2. my cpu is making these spikes of 6-7 degrees, after I overclocked it and installed a new cooler I heard it could be that the heat paste wasn't applied right but I still just waned to ask.
  3. with me everything luckily went fine.
  4. okay, thanks. I do have a problem with trying to get my ram running at factory settings, it doesn't boot after I set the mhz of the memory higher than is setup standard in bios.
  5. okay, so no need to keep looking to get it down, will see how high I can push my chip.
  6. it is already not supporting am4, or atleast ryzen 7 processors. and if I am right with overclock the only things that can go wrong is to much voltage and to high temps? (just to get it confirmed).
  7. so it is normal to have it always run the same frequency do most people do this?
  8. if I can't find a way to let it downclock by itself when it is needed the question would be is it bad to have it always run at 100%.
  9. in windows 7 resource monitor it says ''maximum frequency'' and in AIDA64 ''CPU clock''
  10. my frequency of my cpu is always at 100% after I overclocked it, when the actual cpu usage rises the cpu temperature also does, voltage stays somewhat the same (0.04 v change's). If I can't find any fix is it bad to run a machine like this, it is a 4 day old build with a ryzen 7 1700.
  11. it currently is always running at 3.65 ghz don't know why, If it keeps running at that speed I would think it is going to wear more, because voltage's also stay some-what the same.
  12. got it installed am going to run a test and see how it performs, overclocked my cpu to 3.65 ghz. see max voltage of 1.24 V I heard it could go up-to 1.45 volts but I don't really know much about overclocking actually nothing at all.
  13. standard paste that was on the amd stock cooler.
  14. why? I should be able to see temps.
