I didn't take any while I did the mod, here some pictures that you show how I've done it:
 
First you need to remove the plastic bezel from the drive:
 

 
Then I cut off the mounting clips from the aluminium cover plate:
 
 
  After that you can use hot glue to glue it to the drive:
 
 
  You can also try to glue a small piece of metal to the cover, so that it activates the small button (picture 1) when you press on it.
Finally you just need to make sure that it lines up with the other bay covers, some cases have multiple mounting hole to position the dvd drive

via "Computer" in the startmenu and then eject disc, but I hardly ever use it anyways
