  1. On the official website it says - 1 x Hyper M.2 Socket, supports M Key type 2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen4x4 (64 Gb/s) (with Vermeer, Matisse) or Gen3x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Cezanne, Renoir and Picasso)* *Supports NVMe SSD as boot disks Supports ASRock U.2 Kit Does that mean that only Cezanne, Renoir and Picasso CPUs support NVME drive? Asking because I have a R5 3600 which I believe is under 'Matisse'
  2. 1) Thats great, I guess their website is outdated. 2) I have a gtx 1060 that should work fine. 3) The 10100 is actually 20 dollars cheaper than the 10105 so I guess that would be the better option? Thank you for your advice.
  3. Hi everyone, I am planning a new build and I am wondering if you could help see the parts I want will be compatible. Intel i3 10100f Gigabyte B560m D2V PNY XLR8 2x8gb 3200mhz ram Seagate barracuda 510 500gb NVME m.2 2280-s2 ssd I realize the ram is not going to run at the full speed due to the motherboard's 10th gen limitation but they are cheaper now. Thanks!
  4. I tried GPU-Z but all I see are stats. Could you tell me how to check for faults? Like what to look out for?
  5. I cant really leave my house to get the spare cable and monitor is office due to social distancing rules. Do you know if there is any software I can run to test my components?
  6. I just had a random black screen while launching a game. Since nothing was responding, I proceeded to unplug the HDMI cable from my gpu in an attempt to replug it but the pc was on restart the moment i plugged the hdmi back to my GPU. I can't really be sure if the unplug-replug caused the restart. I had another weird experience a month ago where I tried to start my pc in the morning but my monitor remained black as if nothing was connected. After this experience, I noticed my gaming fps reduced from around 38 to 29. Could anyone suggest some tests I can do to determine which hardware is causing the problem?
  7. Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a wifi card but I am not really informed about networking. Can anyone tell me the difference between the chipsets mentioned below? 1) Intel Ax200 2) Intel 9260ac 3) Intel 8265ac/8260ac 4) Intel 7265ac/7260ac 5) Intel 3265ac/2160ac
  8. Yes i tried, even with another spare hdd i have. The system will just crash during the installation.
  9. Unfortunately i cant, it is so bad to the point that my laptop will crash before i can open any window. I literally cant do anything except for wonder in the bios now. Do you think it is issue with hardware?
  10. Not really, they seem to appear a few minutes after i reach my desktop
  11. Hi everyone, My laptop started to have BSOD every few minutes with different error messages every time. I have tried to reinstall a clean version of windows but the laptop crashed even during windows installation. Some information: 1) I tried to change a hdd and the problem was not solved 2) My CPU and ram are recognized in the bios 3) I have no crash in bios Any expert here can offer a solution? Thanks!
  12. I'm from Singapore, I think we use 220v/240v at 50hz. Is the higher voltage causing this buzzing sound?
  13. I am fine with the buzzing sound since i can only hear it when i put my ear next to the PSU. I am just wondering if it means there is a problem with the PSU and if that will hurt my other components in the long run.
  14. I just bought the CX450M and realize there is a buzzing sound whenever my PC is shut down (PSU is still plugged in and the switch on the PSU is 'on'). I don't seem to hear this buzzing sound when my PC is on (might be because my fans are louder). Do you guys think this is a problem? Should i RMA it?
  15. Right i forgot. Right now i have a 4th gen i5 and a gtx 760. Looking forward to upgrade to a ryzen 5 and a 2060/1660ti in the near future.
  16. Thanks for the link! I looked at this just now but i am just wondering if anyone here have some really good (or bad) experience with the 3 power supplies i mentioned.
  17. Im from Singapore. Probably buying from local stores (or local websites). Budget wise i will say anything under 100 SGD is fine.
  18. I kind of know that. But since im from Singapore the price of hardware is really horrible here.

  20. Hi guys. I have recently bought a 'case' which allows me to use my old ssd as an external drive. I am just wondering if i can just backup my data in my primary drive with just a new folder (not touching all windows files) or do i need to save in specific windows folder like 'desktop' or 'my document'. I do not want to delete the windows in my secondary drive so that i can just plug and use if i need to use my secondary drive as a boot drive in the future. Please let me know your opinions, thank you and have a nice day!
