I haven't to be honest - are they simple to buy? The website always looks a bit confusing. I do really love the K65 but again US layout is impossible to find in the UK and everywhere, including Canadian sites seem to be sold out of it

Yea and that's what made me interested in WASD originally but they don't offer backlit unfortunately I've heard they're very very well engineered

So, as the title says, I'm looking to ascend the steps from my current keyboard (Razer DeathStalker - please don't hate me) to a mechanical keyboard. At the moment my setup uses a KVM switch between my PC and my MacBook Pro, so the keyboard would have to be something that fits for both OS (not really an issue, only gripe is the different OS key layouts between Windows and Mac OS X). Here's what I'm looking for with my new keyboard: Cherry MX Red or Brown Backlit Keys (single or RGB LEDs) 10 Key-Less Wrist rest (I'd prefer to have one built in or one that can be attached) US layout (I live in the UK but I'm Canadian and can't get my head around another layout. Its seemingly impossible to get a US layout in the UK...) At the moment I'm looking at 3 different keyboards, but either they're sold out or they are not available in US layout anywhere within the UK. Corsair K65 RGB - love the size and built in wrist rest Cooler Master Storm Quickfire Rapid-i WASDKeyboard CODE 87-Key - Brown switches, beautifully simple and basically what I want but they're sold out :'( So I've come to the forums in search of some help and advice because my fingers deserve better.

I found that but I was hoping to find one that maybe turned it into an SSD...I'll take a quick look around I'll open it up an see but from what I can tell on ifixit its a strip of modules rather than a drive
-
So I have a 2011 MacBook Air that I replaced over a year ago. Its sitting in a closet now and I genuinely have no use for it. Would I be able to extract its SSD and then use it inside my PC as an extra drive? Anyone tried something like that before? Thanks!

My Little Pony Express Not quite sure why now, but still think its quite fun Edit: Just saw OP's profile picture. How perfect.

I was thinking of maybe getting a bigger boot SSD and an LG Ultra-Wide monitor, but would be great to get other opinions! Cheers

Buying A US Layout Corsair K65 RGB In The UK...
charliesmbdy replied to charliesmbdy's topic in Peripherals
Thats kind of what I expected, but thought I would check on here just in case! Ashamed to say I didn't think of that... -
Hi guys, As someone who moved from Canada to the UK and has used US layouts on every keyboard I owned, I'm not about to adopt the UK layout anytime soon. That being said, its impossible for me to find a link to buy a Corsair K65 RGB in US layout anywhere in the UK. Does anyone happen to know somewhere that may do or have a solution? If all else fails I will suck up the expense for importing one but trying to find a way around it. Here's the info on the K65 for those that don't know: Corsair K65 RGB CH-9000072-NA / http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/corsair-gaming-k65-rgb-compact-mechanical-gaming-keyboard All thoughts/suggestions welcome!

Probably a stupid question, but are you sure that the coil whine is coming from the GPU? I thought it was my GPU as well but after doing some more careful listening I found it was the PSU. At the moment I'm in the process of RMAing the PSU with Corsair because the whine is getting a little annoying

PC/Gaming Hardware Store In London?
charliesmbdy replied to charliesmbdy's topic in New Builds and Planning
Everything, its basically all across Europe - but its included in the price so you tend to forget about it. The one upside to that is if something says it will cost £4.50, it will be £4.50 -
PC/Gaming Hardware Store In London?

True, it was always shit to compare take between the US and Canada. However anything is better than a 22% tax
