Hi everyone! Well I made a mistake ISP offered me a free upgrade to 2.5Gbps (from 1Gbps) ... ofc I said "hell yeah".
then I realised... I have all my network on 1Gbps what a terrible idea... So I need suggestions, this is my goal I want to acchieve.
- I have 3 house floors, each 110m2, a lot of steel reinforced concrete (European home).
- I want 1 floor to have full (or best possible) 1.8-2.5Gbps, then other floors can have 1Gbps.
- So my plan is to have 1 Switch/router which is 10Gbps..then have a cat6e cable for each floor and on end of the cable put Ubiquiti U6 Pro...
Would something like this work?
1x Switch Flex XG (then I use 1 of 4x10G ports to connect to ISP router)
3x U6 Pro (then I use rest of 10G ports on Switch Flex XG)
To be honest, I will rarely use the full network speed.. as you know I just want it to be easy to manage and maintain... but to get best possible speed out of it.
Thanks!
