  1. Hi everyone! Well I made a mistake ISP offered me a free upgrade to 2.5Gbps (from 1Gbps) ... ofc I said "hell yeah". then I realised... I have all my network on 1Gbps what a terrible idea... So I need suggestions, this is my goal I want to acchieve. - I have 3 house floors, each 110m2, a lot of steel reinforced concrete (European home). - I want 1 floor to have full (or best possible) 1.8-2.5Gbps, then other floors can have 1Gbps. - So my plan is to have 1 Switch/router which is 10Gbps..then have a cat6e cable for each floor and on end of the cable put Ubiquiti U6 Pro... Would something like this work? 1x Switch Flex XG (then I use 1 of 4x10G ports to connect to ISP router) 3x U6 Pro (then I use rest of 10G ports on Switch Flex XG) To be honest, I will rarely use the full network speed.. as you know I just want it to be easy to manage and maintain... but to get best possible speed out of it. Thanks!
  2. @Stygian ZenithI currently tried the cheaper dock.. 40€ ... but as it has no power adaptor it's only 30Hz.. simply not enough power to push the data through...I'm using it on my current laptop Gaming Pavilion i5 8300H + GTX1050 + 32GB RAM... but one screen is 4K @ 60, other connected via dock is not... tried reversing.. same thing happend, through dock is not @60hz
  3. Stupid question do I need docking 2x4K to be able to do that? https://www.amazon.de/-/en/StarTech-com-MST30C2HDPPPD-Monitor-Docking-compatible/dp/B074VKW195/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=usb%2Bc%2Bdocking%2B4k&qid=1608031007&sr=8-6&th=1
  4. @Stygian Zenith sadly just those two everything else is either out of stock or pure rubish... Is it possible to run 2 x 4K @ 60Hz with one HDMI + one usb c? not sure about that...
  5. Seems like I decided to take Lenovo Legion 5.. Just can't decide between two... OR
  6. yeah, but I'm scared there will be a lot of incompatibilities such as GPU not fitting in, or cooling not adequate or cpu cooler not fitting etc.. I have assembled 30-40 midi-tower PCs in my life.. never something small
  7. I change laptop every 12 months.... but my budget is about 1400$. I'm looking reviews about your recommendations.. it seems like a bad time to buy anything as amazon.de or even stores in my country don't have anything in stock at the moment..
  8. I only use amazon.de (europe) as it usually has best prices for my country... lower than other pc stores etc..yeah it can be 15 inch
  9. Can you please give me some reasons? Any better cooling? components? quality overall? Thanks!
  10. Hiiii everyone! So I'm looking to get a new laptop... my requirements are at least 6 core CPU, at least 16GB ram (maybe 8 but with option to expand), m.2 SSD and some GPU for moderate gaming here and there.. I'm a full stack web developer so and I use 2 external screens (1 x 4K, other one Ultra Wide) so I need to have enough power/options to run both. Currently I use HP Pavilion Gaming with 32GB / i5 8300H + GTX1050 But sometimes it gets too hot or simply things like zipping a project take 30 seconds..and it shouldn't :D Any suggestions? Thanks :)
  11. Also... do you think these new M(VA),TN etc.. panels are similar in sharpness/quality as IPS panels? Should I consider using something different than IPS?
  12. I will mostly code on it.. 90% of time.. here and there I will play a game... nothing special as it's running from a cheap gaming laptop I don't expect 4K gaming etc... I was thinking on 32" 4K I could split it in half virtually and sometimes use it like that ... I have 2 x 27" U2715h.. I'm really pleased with how sharp they are, eyes don't hurt after long working hours etc... I was thinking on 32" 4K I would simply split the screen in half and have 2x 1920px or 1x1280px / 1x2560px.. I simply don't want to run on two monitors... no special reason.. wanted to try out 4k idea...and I don't want 4K on 27" as it's too small screen...at least I think it is... What other similar monitors do you recommend (similar as ..IPS, Sharp..)?
  13. So... I'm thinking of upgrading from my 27" Dell U2715H to LG 32UN880-B (https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-32un880-b-4k-uhd-led-monitor#) I want to get a bit more screen space (more trash on my screen is always great) Now... do you recommend any other monitor? In price range of ~900€ (EU)? Do you even think that upgrade to 32" 4K is a good idea or will I need to scale to 125% to see any text?
  14. yes but you are forgetting the issue that those devices are communicating and sending data back in some cases.. but overall yes it's true.. However for example.. keep in mind microwave oven works at 2.45GHz.. with much more power and focused signal.. but still
