Hi, ive been looking at a new pc monitor recently, and i have been thinking about a 1440p monitor. I currently have a 5 year old 21,5 inch 1080p 60hz TN display, which imo is too small. My gpu is a GTX 970. I also thought about a 144hz 1080p monitor. But i dont play alot of FPS games and i dont really see the need of it, and i dont play that serious. I play games like GTA V, Minecraft, TF2, Farcry etc. Thats why i thought about a 1440p IPS monitor, as i heard they look very good. I know that a GTX 970 wont be able to max everything out at 1440p, but im fine with turning down some settings a little. It would also be good if i decide to upgrade my gpu in the future. I dont have an unlimited budget, so ive been looking at something like a Dell P2416D, as it fits my budget. Do you think the upgrade is worth the money?

I already have a seperate tv so i wont use it for that, so the bad viewing distance from the sides because of the curve doesnt really matter. I still dont know if i should buy something else for the money though. I want it but i still dont know if its worth it.

Expensive? Its the cheapest curved one available here. I doesnt cost anything more than any other normal 24 inch display either. Plus its rebated.

Hi, om thinking about buying a new pc monitor. My old one is old and too small imo. Im thinking about the Samsung C24F390 as it is pretty cheap here in Sweden. And its curved. It is still 1080p and 60hz, as my old one, but i want a bigger one. My old is 21,5 inches big. And this one is 24. Plus that i like the curved ones. I cant afford more expensive gaming and 144 hz displays. Do you think its worth the upgrade? My gpu is Gtx 970, i mostly game and surf the internet.

Ok, thanks. But im still pretty unsure about this. If the noise difference only is very small, because the temps wont improve as ive understand, the cost is not going to be worth it. Is there anything else you would suggest upgrading or something instead?

I saw a comparison beetween the stock fan and the NF f12 on youtube, where the NF f12 made it run like 7 degrees hotter, and thats no what i want, it has a max speed of 1500 rpm, the stock fan max is 2000 rpm.
