Display not working properly after sleep
Sentinel GT posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
So recently my laptop has been having a problem after getting out of sleep mode where the display doesn't display anything...meaningful. It's on, I know that but it isn't displaying the log in screen or anything 'normal' when it comes out of sleep mode. I don't know what to make of this, help? -
It's held together by two screws and a plastic fan out to prevent the switch from wiggling in place.

I think I'll just avoid them then. Not worth putting down an investment just for it to die.

Oh dear...so what you're saying is. Avoid any and all GPUs that have been used in mining? What if it has only been used for a week or two to lets say a month?

I just figured since mining GPUs typically run at 100% load all the time I thought they wore down rather quickly.

Is it safe to buy a used graphics card from someone that used it for bit coin mining? What are the dangers of using this used equipment if that is the case? Or is used only for gaming the better way to buy equipment?

I REALLY like this case. And I had no problem spending the $60 on it either. And the fans were given to me by a friend since he bought some LED ones and had no other use for them.

Nope. I bought one though, the Spec 01 side panel fits just fine.

I do have an nice tinted side panel. Might as well save the extra $20 for the lumi edition.

Right? This case is an extremely tight fit for cables.

I would have to remove the fan controller. I bought an H60 to install when it still had an intel chip inside. I didn't like the idea of its removal. I do know I could control the fan speeds using my motherboard software but I'd rather not and leave the controller be. I like to ramp up my fan speed on command and not after reboot. IN addition I think I prefer the aesthetics of a air cooler. I know I didn't state that in my initial question but that's the truth.
