That's where I started initially and it'd still just boot to the same screen.

I did a clean install of Windows 10 on a new wd blue 1 tb hdd on my main pc. I then put that drive in my other oc that I'm planning on giving to a friend. After install the drive in the pc upon booting I end up at a black screen with a flashing underscore. Swapping the drive back into my main pc and it runs just fine. Main pc specs (Just built :)) Asus z97 pro gamer 16gb ddr3 Intel i5 4690k Msi gtx 970 650 psu Other pc: Msi 7641 ver 4.0 mobo 8gb ddr3 AMD 6300 Gtx 750ti 500 psu Side note- when boot managing on the Asus board I see two options for the hdd when booting with either one Windows will start, on the second pc I only see one boot option and it takes me to the black screen with the blinking underscore.

Well that didn't work still haha idk what to do at this point lol.

Still a no go it just says no bootable devices.

If it is that simple i'm going to be mad haha. I'll let you know if that works.

So I'm trying to do a clean install using a usb. When selecting the dive I want to install windows on I format the drive, then proceed to let the install program run. When it restarts it boots back into the installer. I'm using a 1TB WD Blue drive.

Fixed it lol.

Hello world, Long story short I built my first PC today and i am having some trouble getting the included fans to work. I'm not sure what connection to be using, the one i have been using plugs into a 4 pin female molex? or milex? that is converted into a 4 pin fan header however it will not work in either of the two fan headers i have plugged it into. When plugging them in it lights the leds for a split second and then nothing. Any insight at all would be amazing.
