  1. Thanks for your reply ! isn't the BenQ XL2730Z also a 144hz 1440p monitor ? the acer XG270HU isn't adjustable in height either and the color scheme doesn't fit my desk either unfortunately.
  2. Thanks for the reply, the BenQ XL2730Z was on the top of the list but I'm still a bit on the fence if it's worth it or not compared to the BenQ XL2720Z or even some asus monitors. I never actually owned or seen a 1440p monitor compared to 1080p so I'm not sure what to expect or if the 200 euro price difference is worth it, do you notice any difference on the 2 different benq monitors you have? Best regards, Jaron
  3. Looking to buy a new primary monitor to finish up my 3 monitor setup but I'm not sure what's worth it. My most important features are: 1. 144 hz refresh rate. 2. Must be easy to switch between my pc and consoles. 3. Would like to have a bigger screen for my primary monitor without sacrificing much performance but it not completely required. 4. Must be good for gaming. Mainly pc gaming and a bit of console gaming and watching movies/series. 5. Must fall within a ~600 dollar budget but can spend more if you convince me. 6. Height must be adjustable. 7. Must have a DisplayPort connection GPU: EVGA 980 ti superclocked.
  4. I don't really mind the colors of the noctua, I've just done a bit of research and it looks like I will go for that one. Thanks for your reply !
  5. Alright thanks for the advice !
  6. Thanks ! I've read the H100i has some pretty loud stock fans, any fans you'd recommend to replace them with? And since the nzxt h440 case has a filter in the front would it be worth it to place it there instead of on the top, so it's less dusty and use it as an intake ?
  7. I would like some advice on a CPU cooler and case fans and airflow. At the moment I still have a stock fan on my intel core i5 3570k, but when under load I can hear the fan over the game sound with my headphones on. So I'm looking for a new CPU cooler that keeps my CPU cool, is quiet and allows me to overclock in the future. I'm also looking for some new case fans, I currently use a nzxt h440 case that comes with 4 fans included http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/143-h440-performance-mid-tower.html. Since I have almost no knowledge on fans/cooling I would like some help with picking a CPU cooler and some case fans. For CPU cooler I've personally been looking at a corsair H100i, H105 or a Noctua nh-d14 and for case fans I'm looking at corsair air series SP120. The most optimal airflow would be intake fans in the front and exhaust fans on the top and back right? What is your opinion on these coolers/fans? Thanks for the help ! And sorry for my English, it's not my native language.
  8. These are my temps while gaming, not a heavy game tho. Bios temps are on default.
  9. Hey everyone, Since around a 3-4 days ago my pc randomly starts beeping while playing games and I hear some fans going louder. Here is a picture of my temperatures since I've heard it could be because of overheating, but my temperatures seem to be fine. Any advice on what I should do? Thanks.
  10. Thanks I will check it out.
  11. Thanks for the information!
  12. Thanks, is there anything specific I know to know about choosing a fan controller or does anything with the right size/fan connections work?
  13. Hello, I would like some advice on putting some fans into my case, since my GPU and CPU get quite hot, so I'm planning to installing 4 fans on the side pannel ( intake ) and 1 on the back ( exhaust ), I already have 2 stock fans on top and front of my case. I'd like a blue LED fan for looks, But I wouldn't mind some black/white ones and put in some LED strips later. I don't know anything about fan controllers so I would like some information of what I need to know/look for. Is there anything important I need to know regards fan controllers/ fans? Thinking about Aerocool shark blue edition with the bitfenix recon fan controller. Thanks.
  14. That's kind of a problem, since I don't know anyone that could lend me his power supply to try it on my current graphics card. Can't really lose my power supply for about 2 weeks, So I'm thinking about either buying a new power supply then rma the current one so I have it for backup. Or I could ask corsair if they can express RMA my power supply ( they send me one first, then when I receive theirs, I send my current one to them ) pretty sure it isn't my GPU tho, since it had coil whine on 2 different GPU's.
  15. K, thanks for your opinion.
