I can't really find out what parts it has since the computer isn't currently usable

Yesterday my brother told me his computer's mouse and keyboard stopped working when he was updating drivers and restarted in the middle of it from what I heard. I tried helping but couldn't fix the problem. Things tried: Restarting many times Changing the usb slots Unplugging them and waiting a bit to re plug them in However the mouse and keyboard (or at least the mouse) work in the bios. Not sure what his specs are but I'm guessing it's 64 bit windows 10 Thanks for at least trying to help

Services.msc didn't work, Rebooting didn't work, Reinstalling didn't work. H a l p

Already tried that, nothing showed up in the right time frame

Could it maybe be that the house is old?

A few months ago my computer would just randomly shut itself off in the middle of me doing whatever. I fixed it at the time by switching the power sockets I use and it seemed to go away until yesterday. This time it only seems to happen while I'm playing minecraft on a dedicated server hosted on the same pc, and my brother joins for a few minutes. It doesn't happen in any other game, I've tried lagging out the server but it only shuts my computer off when he joins. I'm really confused here I forgot to mention it also happened once while I was on a different server (hypixel) Very super confused here/

They both seem in good condition, can I use any cable that fits in to the psu like that?

Title says it all I guess, the plug doesn't want to go in all the way. My computer's been randomly shutting itself off because of this (I'm guessing it's because of this) I haven't tried looking inside where it should plug but I'll try that next time it shuts itself off. Hopefully it doesn't though. Sorry for the wonky pic

I use SoftEther VPN sometimes and recently it stopped working. It says it's connected and that my ip is changed but any website tells me that's not the case. I've spent an hour looking at forums and trying to fix this but nothing has helped at all. I reinstalled the software and that didn't work either. When I look in network properties (I'm in windows 10 btw) it does show something called VPN - VPN Client but it's disconnected for some reason. Anyways, I'm pretty much clueless at this point and would really like to use my VPN again, I'd greatly appreciate any help.
