  1. Well I wouldn't say it's that bad as it's not thermal throttling my setup, but it does run quite hot at times. As for the mobo, it's a Asus Prime X570-Pro. Forgot to add that I also have 32gb of DDR4 3200mhz ram.
  2. Budget (including currency): 700-1000€ Country: Finland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CoD MW2, Battlefield 2042 and other AAA games. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I currently have a build sporting an AMD 3600x as well as an NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super. I have crammed this into an NZXT H510 Elite (with poor airflow as many of you know, I might need to switch case as well). I also have an NZXT Kraken dual fan AIO cooler. I also have two 144hz 1080p gaming monitors. I’m looking to make a proper upgrade, as I want to be able to have a video/stream in the background on my second monitor while playing games like CoD. I’m also a student so I’m looking for the most bang for your buck upgrade. The challenge for me is that I have been out of the PC build world since the 900- and 1000-series GPUs, and merely bought the 2070 Super as a direct upgrade from my 1070. With the 4070 just being released, and having an AM4 X570 motherboard with a rather old CPU, I’m looking for advice as to what to upgrade. Currently I’m running AAA games at an okay FPS with occasional stutters. I’m not able to have a video on whilst gaming, and I suspect my CPU is the problem, as it runs at a constant >85% usage in games. So in your guys’ opinion, should I just upgrade to a newer motherboard alongside a newer CPU and lay the groundwork for a later GPU upgrade? Or should I just go all out now, with the secondhand market prices in freefall? I’d really appreciate your wise words of advice, and feel free to ask any questions if something was left unclear! Cheers! SpookySpurg
  3. Also another thing, are they decently silent? The website I'm buying them from says 43.5 dBA, isn't that kind of loud?
  4. Well that seems interesting, I'll look into this.
  5. If I sadly wasn't so focused on aesthetics I would go for Noctua but I absolutely despise their colour scheme. And to add insult to injury they make the best fans ;-;
  6. So I own the Hyper 212 Evo and I'm going with a red and black PC design so I need a fan with either red leds or just red colours on it. I'd prefer the fan to be decently silent. I have no budget so suggest whatever your heart desires (as long as it's good) Thanks guys
  7. Hello everyone! So me and my friend have planned out this computer designated for gaming: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dZDbBm. I will be playing pretty demanding games such as: Battlefield 4, Star Citizen etc. It's a pretty loose budget, hovering around ~1400€ (I live in the EU so please keep that in mind). We are going with a red, black and white design for the rig. I have the OS, Monitor and Keyboard included there. I basically have the thing planned out, I'm just looking for some input if I need to change anything. Note: Please keep the replies tech-newbie understandable since I'm not that advanced in computers and all that. Also point out anything I've missed, since I'm typing this at 4.00 am.
