  1. Yes this is probably what i meant. Is it as easy as just plugging a second router into the modem if it has the ports for it?
  2. Hello. I've just moved into a house that has two apartments, i live upstairs and someone else lives downstairs. There's only 1 router that is located in the downstairs apartment. The wifi range/speed is alright i suppose but i'd like my own router and to have the ability to use ethernet cables. Is it even possible to add a second router on the same network? If so, how?
  3. Does anyone know if laptops can come preinstalled with GeForce experience and Microsoft Visual C drivers? Just booted up a new laptop and found both of these dated january 10th 2020. Wondering if it might be an indication of a used laptop.
  4. IPS on both with the Zephyrus having a brightness of ~300nits and ~350 on the MAG-15.
  5. Then i'm wondering if it would be worth it to wait for newly released laptops at peak prices or just snag one today from somewhere on sale. Both of the laptops in the OP are on sale where i'm at.
  6. Are these new AMD laptops expected to be on par or better than intel laptops?
  7. I just want something to play games on that doesn't require a whole setup.
  8. Which one would you go for if their price was the same and why? i7 9750H and RTX 2070 Max-Q on both with the Zephyrus having a 240Hz display rather than a 144Hz on the MAG-15.
  9. There's an Asus Zephyrus S GX531 on sale where i'm located, it's at $2100 down from $2400. There's also the Acer Predator Triton 500 at $2100 as well however it's not on sale. Also there's an HP Omen but at $1900, ~$200 less than the other two. Lenovo Y740 at $1850. All of these are the same spec. i7 9750H. RTX 2070 Max Q. 16GB Ram. 512GB storage however both the Acer and Lenovo has 1TB. Oh and the Asus apparently has a 240Hz screen compared to 144Hz on the other two. What do? Oh and also, it the laptop doesn't need to be crazy thin as i don't really care about it being thin and light. I want a laptop that doesn't sound like a jet engine while also not being too too hot. I know i can't have both but some laptops are probably better than others. Please suggest other options as well if you can but keep in mind i'm not in the US (Norway) so $2200 probably won't get me as far as it would in the US. I probably could've formulated this post a bit better but this is what i've got. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions!
  10. No water block for the GPU?
  11. Yeah, maybe.. I also just realized that you can only pair the i5 8400 with a Z370 motherboard, no B or H chipsets. That seems like a waste to me. Might as well suck it up and pay the extra ~$50 for the 8600k at this point and it think that's what i'll do. Thanks for the replies.
  12. No, i sold the i7 4790 system i had in February and now i regret it lmao. I've been looking at the i5 8400 as well as the Ryzen 5 lineup before i came across these used parts, not sure which one is better for me. I don't overclock and i've never done it (I mean i guess i could give it a shot) and i don't do any editing of any kind, i just play games. (PUBG, some Battlefield 1 and 4, Arma 3 etc..)
