Im making a 2U rack mounted server. Which drive is the best drive to use? I want power efficiency but not super expensive. The server will be in a box with 8 or 4 other drives.

Is it worth the extra price? Im building 2U server running in a raid configuration so there may be 8 drives running. Is the power saved really worth it too?

Should I use nas drives in my server? What is the benefit of spending the extra money for a nas drive for my server.

Oh ok that makes sense. Thats funny I'v always thought of ethernet as faster. But I think I would still go with ethernet I have a full house wired with CAT 6. Although if you think thats the way to go I will. Where do I find parts for this? I keep finding full NAS server set ups not just the drives. ok

The case will be rack mounted and ethernet This server will mainly be a data storage server but I would like to make this host a server.(insurgency for example) Insurgency occasionally but mainly data storage.
