That's what I told myself but I'm always building an x99 Build for a buddy and his turned right on powered up fans and all I'm just confused lol my 6700k comes in tomorrow just go from there

Hey everyone I am building a new pc and a few parts came in today and I wanted to test them current parts and the gigabyte z170x Gaming 7, g.skill trident z 16gb 2x8 3000 mhz corsair hx1000i and the nzxt sentry fan control I turn the pc on and it begins to power cycle on and off my cpu is not here yet nor is the gpu hope anyone can help
