Considering that gigabyte 7870oc with triple windforce never went over 61 on full load the 1060 g1 is pretty hot
And yes i maybe got unlucky but as i see 80% of other people got unlucky also.
Got it 5 days ago.
Pretty high temps actually not gonna lie. It goes and stops at 72c under big load. I mean like fur mark 1080p 8x msaa load.
Coild whine is TERRIBLE. Its like having 1060 insects in my pc case. But u cant hear it when u have headphones on. And it happens only when u game. Soo i sugguest Cap the fps on 60 - 62 soo it doesnt make that much noise
Havent tried overclocking it yet.
Another pro: Minimum psu is 400w.
Conclusion: Spent 340euros. Can i say im happy? 7/10. Well i mean it was an upgrade from my 7870 oc edition wich was amazing card. Thats all i have to say to people who want to get the 1060 g1. if u can bear the noise. Its a good card after all.
Hey, well il start with my rig i have:
CPU: i5 2320 4core
RAM:8gb 1333mhz
PSU:500W gonna upgrade dont worry.
GPU: gigabyte hd 7870 OC
Im telling you my specs becouse i want to upgrade gpu to gigabyte 970 g1 gaming. And i want to know if its gonna be stable with other componens or should i upgrade something?
Thanks for any response.
I think i fixed it. The fix was C:\Users\blah\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings\PROFSAVE_profile. Under terrain quality i just pasted a command ''GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 4'' and save it. Il update you later. It might not be the case.
Yes, it is as it was before. Was running those OC settings for 2years.
I guess the performance droped after i cleaned it. BF4 didnt have any updates in a mean time. BF3 has minus ~20 fps also
i took everything apart except cpu.
Yes im getting the oveclocked clocks when i play the game
Doesnt gove above 60 in winter. goes above 60 in Summer. The case has very good airflow
Its 1920x1080, i was running on ultra. My gpu is strong and i keep a good clean in system. The deafult clocks on that gpu is 1100 and 1200 but i got it woring stable on 1225 and 1450 a long long time ago.
The game is better a little bit. But the feeling that you are not getting the performance you payed for and u could get with a fix is destroying my brain.
I cleaned the dust out of my pc 2 weeks ago. I launched battlefield 4 and i saw like 10 - 20 fps drops in game. Things i tried: 1: Reseat gpu 2: Fresh insatll of windows 8.1
But the game still has lover fps.
I used to play on ultra settings + resoluiton scale up to 125% with 70 +fps Now i play with Everything ultra except Ligting and Effects quality and res scale back to 100% and its still droping fps
Could it be some dust thats in some kind of a connector? My specs: Motherboard: ga-p61-s3 (rev 2.0)
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 OC. And overclocked my self also
PSU: 500W
RAM: Kingston 8gb 1333mhz CPU: Intel 2320 core i5
Sorry for bad English im from Latvia.
