No, I live in student accommodation and pay rent to the company that owns the building... There's probably upwards of 300 people living in the building so I doubt they would notice the power consumption of a miner

How profitable is mining right now if I have access to free electricity? I am in college and pay rent with fixed bills for utilities included. Therefore, is it profitable? If so, what coin should I mine and what sort of miner speed would I require? Thanks in advance for the help.
