  1. I got it working but barley, I think it's on the way out like you said, I reseated everything to no luck, let it sit for 30 minutes, thought I would try one more time and it worked but those lines flashed on screen for like half a second. It's working as normal for now
  2. My computer just started to have this problem, worked fine the other day, went to power it on and this happened. I can see the bios screen but it doesn't boot into windows. Just gives me a glowing black screen. I think it's the gpu, It's pretty old, but not sure. Seeing what others think Specs are Ryzen 5 1600X Xfx r9 390 Msi x370 gaming pro MB 16 GB 3200 mhz trident z rgb Corsair 750w 80+ bronze I think And a couple of hard drives
  3. i bought a headset for talking to friends on games, the audio works fine but the microphone doesn't work at all. all computer audio comes through the stereo mixer. iv tried all the simple solutions, setting to default, checking the volume levels, making sure its not muted, updating drivers and countess other things. iv spent hours trying to fix this. when i plug the headset into another device the microphone works fine. i know it must be a software problem i just dont know what to do.
  4. Yea iv tried all my USB ports and iv tried the the newest g hub firmware and the old logitech gaming software that was recommended with the speakers when I got them. Its just weird that iv got the same audio issues even through Bluetooth and the aux jack
  5. My logotech g560 speakers have been having weird problems all of a sudden that I can not figure out for the life of me. Asking to see if anyone else has had this problem or has any experience with the speakers. Been working fine for 2 years until I got a new mouse, the razer death adder v2, then the sound just stopped working, like in the middle of a video. The sound plays randomly, plays for 20 seconds fine then stops for 5, plays for 6 seconds then stops for 8. The media still plays and the lights still flash so it knows there's a signal coming through, it just won't play sound. This weird problem even happens when I use the aux jack or Bluetooth. I also tried it on onother computer and it still happens. Thinking it might be the razer software, I uninstalled it and nothing changed, tried reinstalling the speakers drivers and software, nothing. I even reset my computer and nothing changed. Its like the speakers took on a mind of their own and just bricked it self. Does anyone have any info on how to like factory reset them or wipe its memory? Really scratching my head here
  6. i dont think i have enough air flow through my case so i was wondering if i could some how connect all my fans on to the cpu fan header and use a software to control them all at once. i have an AIO and all i can control fans wise is my GPU fans and my AIO fans which are my exhaust
  7. i NEED some help, i have got no idea how to fix this so heres the story. computer working fine for about 2 years, i move, computer starts crashing at random, sometimes after 5 minutes after boot up while on the web sometimes after couples hours of gaming. initially thought it was my brothers external ssd he just started plugging in. so i would leave it unplugged, still crashes. then i thought it was a heat problem, the vrm heat sinks did feel really hot when it would crash, so i replaced the thermal compound under the cpu and replaced the thermal pads under the vrm's, still crashes. for sure it has to be a virus then, so i reset and wiped everything off all my hard drives, did a fresh install of windows, crashes in the first minute. FUUUUUUUU. now there was this weird oily residue running down from from the vrm's onto the motherboard (not my picture) same thing but more oil everywhere. i cleaned it with rubbing alcohol computer specs cpu: amd fx 9370 graphics: xfx r9 390 memory: 16 gig hyper x fury power: corsair cx 750 motherboard: msi 990fxa gaming cooler: corsair gtx h110i
  8. will the format wipe windows from my old hard drive?
  9. i have my os on a 1tb hard drive with some files and games and a separate 1tb hard drive just with games. i got an ssd so i want to clear everything from both of my hard drives including windows and i will reinstall it on my ssd. i seen some videos and read some articals but those people just want certain partitions gone or they want to wipe everything but certain files bla bla bla. i want to wipe everything like the drives haven't even been used. i dont want to download some third party software and install that to a disk and do a whole bunch of things, cant you just wipe EVERYTHING in windows somehow?
  10. yea im just going to wipe everything and do a reinstall, even if it is the software im still going to put it on a ssd just to make things faster
  11. i did some checking and my GPU requires 30Amps and a minimum of 550-600 watt psu my psu outputs 3.3volts at 25 Amps 5volts at 25 Amps 12volts at 62 Amps thats what it says on the box even if my psu couldn't handle my gpu that still doesn't explain the EXTREMELY SLOW boot and application open times and the crashes right?
  12. that audio studdering has stopped, now that my computer barley boots theres no more audio or video studdering. i checked on pc part picker and it says my config only pulls about 638 watts and i have a 750 watt
  13. yea i did analyze and optimize my drives if thats what you mean, if not im not sure how to test my hdd for failure. any ideads?
  14. sorry for the long post but i want to cover everything so this starts a couple months ago. for example i have steam and when i double click on steam it would take about 20 just for steam to open up (not launch), then about once a week when watching videos the video would freeze for like a 1/4 of a second and the audio would studder, now my computer wont even boot some times, it gets to the motherboard logo and then black screens and i have to shut it off and try again, after about 3 or 4 tries it works out of no where, once it works no joke (i timed it) it takes my computer 37 MINUTES just to get to the windows sign in screen. any thing i want to do on the computer take 30 times as long, just launching file explorer take about 4 minutes, right clicking take 20 seconds or more. i have scanned for viruses with McAfee and Malwarebytes they find nothing. i have test the memory with windows memory tester. i have checked for any weird programs that might have installed, nothing there all mine. i have two suspicions. 1 might be graphics card because of the audio thing but its not happening any more. 2 a software problem pc specs: op: windows 8.1 64bit cpu: amd fx 9370 stock Motherboard: msi 990fxa gaming ram: 4x4 kingston hyper x fury at 1600mhz graphics card: xfx r9 390 double disipation black edition stock psu: corsair cx750 HDD: 2x western digital caviar blue 1tb cpu cooler: corsair h100i v2 case: NZXT noctis 450 i have a feeling its a software problem so i have backed up some important files and i was going to wipe my drives and do a fresh install
