  1. I usually end up taking my computer to a friends house every weekend, so I was trying to look for a portable case under $60 US. I can go up to $70 if I really need to. A case with a handle would be very nice, and it can either be itx or micro atx. Any help would be awesome!
  2. yea thats why i was leaning towards intel
  3. I'm going to go with the i5. Thanks to everyone for the help!
  4. I am having a hard time deciding between these 3 processors: 1. i3-6100 2. i5-4460 3. FX-8320E The i3 will drop costs significantly so I am kind of torn. I will be mostly gaming but I would also like to record some gameplay. And feedback is appreciated!
  5. I can go a little over budget so I could fit the 390 in there. Thank you:)
  6. I am planning on building my first PC in the next few months and it will be used for gaming for the most part. I am having a hard time deciding on two different builds, which are both around $600. The first one is an AMD build: CPU: AMD FX-8320E 3.2GHz 8-Core Processor ($119.99 @ NCIX US) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.44 @ Amazon) Motherboard: MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($82.98 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($29.99 @ Newegg) Storage: A-Data Premier SP550 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($39.99 @ Amazon) Case: DEEPCOOL DUKASE Mid Tower ($55.00) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: USED VisionTek AMD Radeon HD 7970 (900491) 3 GB ($150.00) Total: $567.38 (US) The 2nd is a Intel build: CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($174.89 @ OutletPC) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T2 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($16.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($83.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($29.99 @ Newegg) Storage: A-Data Premier SP550 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($39.99 @ NCIX US) Case: Corsair 100R ATX Mid Tower Case ($47.99 @ Micro Center) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: USED GeForce GTX 670 4GB ($150.00) Total: $603.83 (US) I know that the AMD-FX CPU is much older than the i5-4460, so I was wondering if it was still worth it to go with build #1. I might want to get into streaming into the future, so the 8 cores could come in handy then, but I am afraid the CPU will fall far behind in the next few years. I was planning to buy used graphics cards for both of the builds to save a lot of money, so if you advise against that please let me know:) The reason I only have a SSD for storage in both builds is because I already have a hard drive to use. Thanks for reading and any feedback is appreciated:)
