  1. Found a video that I think shows what kind of sound it is, it is kinda hard to hear over the fans in it though so try to listen real hard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK1Emp-5fSg
  2. I think I might aswell go witha bluetooth one, its simpler for people to connect to (dont have to join wiifi network) and almost all my devices have it already onboard. Thanks for your input guys!
  3. I have a friend that has a Chromecast, but it lagged like crazy while using spotify.. not sure if his internet was just crappy (or AP) or if it just isnt that great.
  4. I dont want my speakers far apart, but there might be some distance between the device and the speakers however.
  5. Hmm, seems like a wifi one would be easier to expand? Or is the one that you linked there capable of hosting more than 2 devices? Also I would need one that can be plugged in to the wall at all times (which that one might be able to?) Also, is there a range concern with bluetooth perhaps?
  6. Hello, so i've been looking for a way to use my 5.1 sound system from my multiple computers and devices and have found something called "wifi music reveiver". Is this a good and reliable way to do this (i'd rather not run cables all over the place) or is bluetooth better? Also since I am not very familiar with these things are there anything to look out for? Also if you guys use this way of streaming music what are some good makers/models? I'd rather not spend a ton of money on it, so around 70$/50€ would be my top (if there are any decent ones that is). Thanks!
  7. But thanks alot for all of your help!
  8. It is not coil whine, just checked linus's video on it and it is definetly not that. I can only describe it is abit quiter then a hdd writing, but aslong as its not hurting my rig I suppose I'll have to suck it up ^^
  9. But as you say, now that I think about it (not that I hear electrical noise all the time) but it could be that I guess, since I have my CPU on automatic voltage use, it jumps all over the place during load and idle. But you dont think that it might be hurting my computer right? @Godlygamer23
  10. @Godlygamer23 I could try to record it! >> Hmm my iphone cant really pick it up it seems
  11. Godlygamer23: The sound a harddrive makes when it writes data to the disc, but since I've tried without mine and it still makes the sound it cant be that unless my SSD can make the same kinds of sounds
  12. Mcfloxxx: I do have an optical drive but there's nothing in it. Charcoal_: There are no cables or anything like that in my fans so I doubt it is that. the sound is basically that of a CD/HDD writing/reading. But since I have tried without my HDD and it still made those noises I cant figure it out ^^
  13. So for some time now there has been some kind of writing noise coming from my computer, the only thing I know that can or will do that are mechanical hard drives. So I tried unplugging my HDD (I have OS on my SSD which I have never heard could make any noise) but it still makes the writing sound. So this got me wondering if maybe there might be something ells that can do similar sounds? It does seem to happen when I browse websites or use above 20% of my CPU but not while I idle at about 1-5%. It also happens when I close/reload a tab in my web browsers. Basically just scrolling thrue websites will make these noises and I just cant figure out what it is, maybe its my GPU? Im on Windows 10 with a GTX 670 GPU i7 2600k CPU and an 850W crosair PSU if any of this helps! Any tips or help will be much appriciated!
