  1. Hello , i am currently looking to upgrade from my benq xl2420g 1080p 144hz , i want to buy a monitor that is going to last for future upgrades , i live in Egypt and there are not a lot of high end options to choose from , i primarly play battlefield games , train in Kovaak and i am looking to play other shooters like Hell let loose and squad , in Egypt nowadays there are 2 monitors that i think that are future proof the Samsung Odyssey G7 27 inch 1440p 240hz that could be found for 605 usd and the Asus XG27UQ 27 inch 4k 144k with the price of 1086 usd , i am worried about the 1000R curve on the Odyssey g7 as i play somewhat competitively and i am not sure if the curve is going to hinder my Kovaak training and my fps experience in any way, i do some CAD/CAM work as well as gaming , i do not mind getting the Asus XG27UQ if it is a better fit to me , or should i go for one of those mentioned monitors and if so which one or should i wait for more 1440p 240hz or 4k 144hz to hit the market ? i am currently using i7 8700k , gtx 1080ti , 16 gb ram and i am willing to upgrade in the future
  2. Hello , my current setup is i7 8700k , 16GB Ram , Gtx 1080ti , i mainly play fps games mainly battlefield titles and i am the kind of gamer that drop every setting to low to get the maximum fps possible , here in my country (Egypt) there are 3 monitors that are very close in price which i am choosing from Odyssey G7 27inch (9500 EGP) , Msi mag251rx (8500 EGP) and the Asus vg279qm (7700 EGP) which monitor should i choose ? , and will the 1000R curve in the Odyssey G7 hurt my performance in Aim trainers and fps games ? my current monitor is Benq xl2420g , Thanks
  3. Thank you very much for your time Comic_Sans_MS , i will consider buying EVGA GS as you said it seems that it is in the sweet spot between the EVGA 1000 and Corsair HX750i and again as you said it is good also in 2 graphics cards upgrade in the future , Well Thank you very much
  4. what do you think about sacrificing quality for instance tier one to tier two to get extra watage for example from Corsair HX750i to EVGA SuperNova 850GS gold psu , or you think it is best to go all out and buy something like EVGA SuperNova 1000PS platinum for future proofing and for SLI/Crossfire configs if i am going to add an extra card ? , Well i can't thank you enough for the information you are sharing with me Thank you very much Comic_Sans_MS
  5. Well Thanks to all of you guys for the answers and knowledge

  7. i have a z87-hd3 mobo and i am thinking of buying a gtx 1080 , are there any issues that maybe i am going to face while installing it or puting it in the mobo ? , and another question do i need a PSU more than 500W for the 1080 ? and Thank you pc specs: Cpu: Intel I7 4770 Ram: Hyper 8gb ddr3 Mobo: Z87-HD3 Gpu: R7 250X Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster s22b300
  8. can i run a gtx 980 ti graphics card on a Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 motherboard ? and will that combination make the graphics card lose its horse power in fps games like battlefield 4 etc because the bandwidth in the motherboard cuz its pci express x8 ?
  9. then i will need to change primarly the motherboard ram and even the processor if i need to add a card better than R9 380 . ty guys for your time and for the information
