I know right , I am planning to buy it end of this month but was having doubts, because many people said pascal series is already past 6 months period , its no longer good time to buy it. And with Amd vega 10 coming up to compete with nvidia pascal series , they might just have some card which might beat 1070 for same or less price. Like maybe Radeon 570x or 580x But i doubt it can beat 1070 maybe even considering maximum performance gain it can't be more than 10% right.

Well that's a good thing right, I can use anti aliasing if i want to reduce that 40% waste and make my games look less jaggy. I really like 1070 benchmarks its really good card from nvidia. Is amd's HBM1 and HBM2 really that better than GDDR5 and GDDR5X?. I am neither fan of amd or nvidia , i just choose best bang for the buck.

why? whats wrong with it?. Can you be more specific why 40% performance is wasted? is it due to overkill or underpowered?

Yea I don't mind waiting , i am still able to play many games with my 970 at mixed high/ultra settings with 40-50 fps. But yea my 970 will sell for less the more i wait, i might not get 1070 for same price later if i wait. If only amd had some benchmarks to get an idea if its better to wait or not.

Hey guys , currently I am running 970 gtx on my dell u2515h monitor which is 1440p at 60 hz and so far its doing well. But i some games i am getting less performance with my 970 like watch dogs 2 at max settings , witcher 3 , deus ex man kind divided. So i am considering to upgrade my 970 to 1070 gtx but is it worth upgrading right now?. I am currently living in India so price drops never happens here no matter what happens. I am planning to sell my 970 for 10,000 Indian rupees to a friend and use the money to reduce the cost and buy 1070 gtx which costs 41,000 Indian rupees, so i can get it for 31,000 Indian rupees. 1080 gtx is out of my budget range. If i buy 1070 gtx now for how long can i expect it to perform well, i wont be upgrading my graphics until next 3 or 4 years, will it be able to hold until then?. My current specs are: Intel core i5 4670k @ 4.2 ghz oc cooler master hyper212 evo cpu cooler 12 gb gskill ddr3 ram MSI 970 Gaming 4G @ stock Asus sabertooth Z87 motherboard Cooler Master mastercase pro 5 case Cooler Master GX 750w PSU 3 TB internal hard disk 120 GB samsung 840 evo for windows. Sorry for the noob questions, I never installed so many fans before so its kind of confusing which goes where. So out of the 3 AF fans that i ordered i should use 2 of them for intake and 1 for exhaust?. And use the left over 2 stock fans as top exhausts?. But I have a question on connecting all these fans. I have a Asus Sabertooth z87 motherboard i think it has only 4 fan connectors. My power supply is very old but still working great its cooler master 750 GX. Is it enough to connect all fans?.

Wait, So I don't need to put 3 fans in front for intake?. I was thinking of using 3 AF fans for front intake and move the 2 stock fans for exhaust on top of the case?. 1 rear exhaust is good enough right?. Will the stock fan do good job at rear and top exhaust or should I get another SP or AF fan for rear exhaust and top exhaust?.

Hey guys, So I just recently ordered my new pc case which is CM master case pro 5, still waiting for it to arrive in a day or 2. So I was looking into case fans and saw some youtube videos on SP and AF fans for intake and exhaust. Then I ordered 3 of Corsair AF 140mm fans for front intake fans, Is it ok to use 3 AF fans for the front of the case for intake?. Should I order 1 SP fan for exhaust or 1 more AF for exhaust or leave the stock fan for exhaust does it make any difference?. I am not using water cooling yet so,its just the case fans + my cooler master 212 evo on my cpu. So do I need fans on top of my case for better intake or exhaust?. Can anyone recommend how many AF and SP fans do I need and where should i place them for optimal flow?. I will be using hard disk cage in basement of case so there wont be restriction for front fans intake flow. And I have just 1 graphics card MSI 970 GTX 4G. Thanks.

@gamingpolice1102 Yea sorry forgot to mention, my motherboard is currently Asus Sabertooth Z87 ATX size motherboard with Intel 4670K CPU. And my current gpu is MSI 970 GTX gaming 4G. @deXxterlab97 Cooling components is my first priority, over led lights and design but yea I really liked noctis 450 looks.

Currently I have cooler master HAF 932 case been using this case for past 5 years its been good but its getting old. I want to replace with newly manufactured cases which have more new features like fan hub and easy to install water cooling. I am mostly looking at NZXT H440 or NZXT Noctis 450 both look great but don't know which is better. I am planning to have my cpu water cooled but currently i am using cooler master hyper 212 evo air cooler for my cpu and its great so far. I also looked at cooler master master case pro 5 and maker case but still not sure if its worth the money. And also i am planning to upgrade my gpu to 1070 GTX mostly EVGA SC ACX V 3.0 if its available in my local stores. I live in India so its hard to get imported brands. Can anyone suggest currently best ATX cases for all rounder in air cooling and also spacious enough for gpu clearance. However i am restricted to brands NZXT,Cooler Master,Corsair since only these are available in my country.

Well I did overclock my 970 for 1500 mhz boost don't know how much it can help for 1440p games. So shall i go with U2515h? or any other 1440p monitor better than this for gaming?. Oh yea I live in India by the way so my choices will be quite less for 1440p monitors however U2515h is available currently.

Is dell U2515h good enough for 1440p and gaming? because 27 inch ips are out of my budget range. I heard on 25 inch there might be scaling issues for text,does it affect games?. I really liked the slim bezel design of this monitor but due to my 970 gtx i was holding back on 1440p monitor if it can't handle current and next gen games.

Hi guys,I am currently gaming on a 5 years old monitor Benq E2200 HD 1080p TN 60hz monitor. I want to buy a new gaming monitor but not sure if I should upgrade to 1080p ips 60hz or 1080p TN 144 hz. And also my current specs are Intel Core I5 4670k 4.2 ghz and MSI 970 4 GB single gpu. And gsync monitors are not available in my country yet. budget is around 300-400$. Please suggest currently best 1080p ips 60 hz available for the price.
