I'm curious to see what debuts at CES2019. LG came out with an ultrawide 5k screen at CES last year which just became available a couple months ago. The 34WK95U-W.

HI, I sold my Macbook and dual 5k displays to get something newer and going back to PC again. I'm curious what monitor you recommend that is as good or better than the LG 5k displays I previously used. I prefer 4k-5k and over 100hz refresh rate. The system will be used mainly for my daily finance and trading work and occasional weekend gaming. Thank you,

HI Everyone, I currently use a 2016 MacBook Pro (2.9 i7, 16 gig ram maxed out) and 2 LG 5k Displays. I primarily use the system for trading, and using platforms like Etrade and TD. I noticed the system slows down running both platforms and both monitors running, there is some lag. I'm curious to see if anyone here has a system running dual 5K monitors on thunderbolt 3. I had an SSD drive and just need to plan what system I build with an I7 and over 32 gig ram to handle the load. Appreciate any input and suggestions.

HI All, Just curious of anyone here is using a Dell XPS 15 9550 4k model laptop. I have a Dell UP2414Q 4k display but I can't get 60hz output via displayport output into the USB 3 doc. I should of realized this prior to getting the USB3 dock. Has anyone had success with USB-C to mini displayport output on this system? I just ordered the Dell Thunderbolt Dock with 240w Adapter in order to get 4k 60hz out of my monitor. Thank you, Tony

That's a good point. I ended up getting an iMac for the time being so I can still use Xcode and do my Mac work. I backed up my boot camp image, so I'll see if I can easily restore it on my Mac after this time machine restore is completed. I didn't expect my MacBook Pro to sell the first time around, thought it would take a couple eBay tries before someone bought it.

Hi Everyone, So I'm selling my macbook pro before the new one launches next month. I use my laptop for photoshop, xcode, web, email, nothing really intense here. The system needs SSD. I'm pondering getting a Apple Imac 5k or a Dell XPS 13, Intel Nuc 2016 (i have and ssd already, just need ram) or open to suggestions? The computer I buy will be only be temporary until the new macbook is launched, then I'll sell it on ebay most likely. Right now I use my macbook with El Capitan and Windows 10. HI, I just sold my gaming rig that I don't use anymore, and I'm interested in getting a new Skylake system mainly for business work, movie editing, graphics, and running 3 screens 1080p or using two 4k screens. I have an SSD and OS, mouse and keyboard. Im not interested in running games at 4k resolution, I may play a game 2-4 hours a month on it just for fun. Mainly I want the system to run extremely quiet. So cooling, fans, and power supply are important to me. I know its probably overkill but I want an i7 processor and good ram. CPU - i7 6700k CPU Cooler - something efficient and quiet POWER - Quiet power supply MB - Asus Maximus Gene (can support a 4k screen) RAM - DDR3 or DDR 4 recommendations? GFX - any recommendations? 3 screen output, future capable of running 2 displays at 4k 60 refresh CASE - I had a Fractal Design which was nice - key is quiet Thank you for your suggestions,

HI All, I just purchased a new mac mini fully loaded to only find out I can't do 4k in 60hz. All I want is a nice small form factor for work with a 1 TB SSD and able to process 4k 60hz for my Dell UP2414Q monitor. Alienware offers a nice pc but only 512 SSD. My question is what would you recommend? I'm thinking to just build a custom pc with really good fans and cooling but still very quiet. The PC is mainly office work, email, and photo editing. HI, I run a HP Envy for my work pc with windows 8.1 I was curious the best way for me to sync/backup my work pc, and also access the files remotely from home while still syncing them with my work pc. Is there software that will sync the hard drive from my work pc to my home pc? Can I buy a new SSD to install in my home computer as a dual boot drive, login to the dual boot and still have the identical work image at home. And if I update any files at home thet will sync with my pc at work? Thank you, Anthony
