  1. I go to the windows firewall --> 'Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall' --> Change Settings --> Allow another program --> Find it in the list (also tried browsing), then everything looks right, I tick the correct boxes (such as Home/Work), but when I press OK it doesn't seem to save it. If I then go back into the list of Allowed programs and features, it's not there. This happens to all my programs that I'm trying to allow. Every time I launch things like Steam, games on steam, or google chrome, my firewall asks if I want to allow it. Thanks. https://gyazo.com/ca327140f91b502e513ce9bc83e092e9
  2. I dont really have any other computers I can do this on, how ever I did move the files onto my HDD and it seems to work without any issue. I have noticed for the CSGO issue that steam shows this: https://gyazo.com/8c8ad57f01ce72de059c7deae2e27831 but as you can see here, it's certainly installed: https://gyazo.com/938b7a83650e1284478fdfc7f5ab07a7 https://gyazo.com/44d0aafd05c4202e6f331dd35689d4a8 UPDATE: I seem to be making progress but I still get the same issue where it just shows a black screen and then puts me back to the desktop. It now recognises the game is on my SSD: https://gyazo.com/c999b308e65276eeedb5bb7788c33f18
  3. I tried this but so far TS3 still has the same issue and I'm waiting for CSGO to download again
  4. I had to wipe my SSD and reinstall windows, stuff like Steam and TeamSpeak3 were on there too. Everything seems to be ok now except TeamSpeak3, it just doesn't run properly when I try to open it. I've tried reinstalling it but it still does the same, I've tried right clicking it and then hitting open, I've tried clicking into the folder and running it like that. I've also tried compatibility mode, and yes it's the 64-bit Windows version which is correct. It shows the loading cursor when I click it but that stops after a few seconds, it also does show in my processes that it's running but only while the loading cursor is there (so after a few seconds it'll end the process). Thanks for the help. UPDATE: I just found out that this is happening for Counter Strike GO too.. I dunno whether this is an SSD issue (since both TS3 and CSGO are on it), I've tried another game from my HDD and that works. CSGO just begins to load, shows a black screen and then goes back to my desktop.
  5. Never mind guys, I found this issue. So fucking stupid but I read on reddit (found it on my phone, can't find it on my PC) that there was two people who updated their nvidia drivers recently and found that MSI Afterburner would completely max out the core clock and memory clock to +1000MHz on both. I left it running a csgo game with bots for an hour and it seems good now. It wouldnt even be on the menu of csgo for 10 seconds without crashing before. Luckily it seems there is no damage to anything. Thanks for all the help guys and sorry it was some stupid situation, I just never thought to check MSI Afterburner..
  6. https://gyazo.com/ad2efb3422e18d5b3aab739672609988 There's all my hardware. I also should probably add that I had it stable at 4.4GHz for a year+ but encountered 60ish Degrees C temperatures so I pulled it back and once I fixed the heat issue I tried to get it back to 4.4 and this happened.
  7. I didn't know that. At the time I bought it I was told it would be perfect for it
  8. My PSU is a Corsair CX750. So it's doubtful..
  9. Hi, I've done a lot of overclocking in the past but need help with it this time. I believe the O/C is the problem. I got my temps down on my CPU by changing a fan almost a week ago so yesterday I decided to take the Overclock up by about 0.1GHz. All seemed great until today, it's crashing everytime I launch a game. It crashes after about 5-10 seconds, but not bluescreen. It just makes both my monitors either a grey or black colour and won't do anything. I tried to reset to default settings but it still does it. Also I noticed that when I launch a game on steam it keeps coming up with the files are missing for the game and when I try to install it, it said something was corrupt but then launched. I uninstalled steam and reinstalled it and the game too but it happened again. Current O/C settings (not default but would like to try for at least this): https://gyazo.com/3698a4da59cae5af105e9d905b9e7d48 I had it to 4.4GHz before with different settings, thought I'd try something else though since it keeps crashing when launching the game.
  10. Will do tomorrow, I actually lost my set of tools but have ordered a set with delivery for tomorrow. Thanks for the help
  11. I figured cleaning it may be an idea but it shouldn't have suddenly gotten this bad, right? I have cleaned it in the past, last time was probably mid summer
  12. My GTX 760 (http://www.kfa2.com/GTX760_2gb_exoc_v2.shtml) is suddenly reaching really high temps. I've had this card for over a year and a half with no issues, except perhaps the cooling has never been 100% great but always within safe temps and slightly over clocked. While writing this my GPU is sitting steady at 31 Degrees C, which is pretty good but as soon as I load into a game (not in menu's) it'll rocket to 88 after just a few of minutes, which is the temperature limit I have in MSI Afterburner. The game can even be something like Counter Strike:GO which isn't too demanding at all. My FPS is still around the same (always around 240+ in CSGO). I've tried taking all the overclocking off and still it's not fixing the problem. I changed the thermal paste maybe around 7-8 months ago and saw improvements. Also the fan speeds according to MSI Afterburner are reaching their max and I can't see any physical problems. Any idea what this could be? Thanks.
