  1. how does this seem? https://gyazo.com/cca350825e26076cd23395406bfc5aa4
  2. I used MSI afterburner for OCing my gigabyte r9 380 (rev 1), this graphics card came with the core clock of 970, so i increased it to 990mhz and might even do 1000mhz. I did powerlimit +20(max) and core voltage +30. My PSU is 550W EVGA 600b. Should I try to do 1000mhz clock with a 600 watt? my processor TDP is 95w and the rest of the system only takes around 350-400w without the graphics card included. And does the core voltage impact anything and is there anything I need to know about it when overclocking? Thank you guys for your help.
  3. I have an old mobo, the msi ms-7778, fm2+ socket with the a10-5700 processor. I am looking for a new cpu cooler, I want a cooler similar to the stock one where the fan is on top of the heat sink. Unlike the cooler master evo 212, I dont want one that has a heat sink extending outwards with the fan on the side. Copper pipes and large heat sink is something i do want though. Do you guys have any suggestions for which one I should get? Thank you guys for bearing through my bad description.
  4. Its a thing with the UEFI
  5. Hi, i have a prebuilt PC from HP. In order to get my r9 380 to work, I have to update my BIOS. If im running windows 7, and the update for the bios is only in windows 8 and 8.1, can i still update the bios? There is no bios update for windows 7, but i really need this update. The update is for the same mobo, the only difference is the OS. and should I download the os 8 or 8.1 update? Thank you!

    BIOS update

I got an gigabyte r9 380, but when I put in the mobo, attach the power, and boot it up it gives no display to the monitor. I have enough power to supply it, i have a 600b evga psu. I've determinded the problem being that the bios doesn't support it. I've read on hp forum post that had the same problem as me with the exact same mobo, but they fixed it by updating their bios version.http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Unable-to-boot-with-new-graphics-card/td-p/3930544. However the way they did it is risky because they had windows 7, but still downloaded the windows 8 bios update. I have windows 7 64bit as well. I installed MSI live update and the program doesn't give me a new update. My bios version right now is 7.07 So do you guys know how I can update my bios to the latest version, and should I follow the steps they did in the other forum post? note: my system is a PC prebuilt, model p7-1297c System: a10-5700 msi ms-7778 evga 600b 8gb ram bios version 7.07
  7. Sorry guys, I forgot to say that I also have an Asus GTX 960 4gb.
  8. I've had a prebuilt pc with an FM2+ socket. I'm looking to upgrade my processor which is currently now the a10-5700. My question is what is the best fm2+ socket cpu on the market right now? for gaming, movies, etc. EDIT: i currently have a Asus gtx 960 4gb graphics card. Mobo: MSI MS 7778 mobo, 500B EVGA psu.
  9. Ok ill just RMA it is there any brand recommendation for the r9 380?
  10. I've bought a DOA gigabyte r9 380(rev1) from Newegg and in the process of RMA. The question is should I get a replacement Gigabyte r9 380 or a Powercolor r9 380? Is there a major performance difference between the two and is that anything really different? links: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131673 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125821&cm_re=gigabyte_r9_380-_-14-125-821-_-Product
