Hey guys, Quick story I just builded a brand new system for around 600 €, all the parts are brandnew except the GPU. It´s a 1070 Zotac mini from ebay for like 150 € but the seller told me one of the fan (the left one) spins at full speed, I thought for myself this would be a Software problem or something that i could easily solve with MSI Afterburner. Oh boy how could i be wrong. It´s like a jetengine. On gpu-z and Afterburner the RPM sensors tell me 0 rpm but the fan still spins at full speed. Even manually putting a fan profil in msi, it don't change anything. I searched everywhere and didn't find anything that help. Things I've done: -DDU and fresh install of gpu drivers -fresh install of windows + update -renew the themal paste -cleaned the gpu (was so filthy that the pcb where something was written was black) Things I will do (planned) -using a vga to 4pin pwm to see if the sensor in the fans is the problem -perhabs using a different PSU Toughts -Bios on the gpu? -Bios on motherboard (there are two new versions, but the installed is from 2‎019/11/27) -if there is the sensors in the fan problem I will renew them System: Thanks in advance. Hey guys, I just did a reinstall of Win10 because of all the kerner problem, now i see i have a folder which is called windows.old where all my stuff still is. my question is can i export it to the main drive/folder? i hope you understand my idea. Hey guys i think i found out what the problem was it was my memory it was underclocked at 800 mhz now at 1600 mhz i get smooth 160 fps thank you all anyway

well i overclocked to 4,4ghz and used ddu but it dont seem to have helped

not with ddu but with cclean i try with ddu at which overclock are you at?

yes but not to this degree i think look at this video of hardware unboxed it compares high end i7 to mine it only has 20-50 fps diffrences and at overwatch 1080 ti Average: 237 FPS (4.22 ms) 1% Low: 153 FPS (6.55 ms) 0.1% Low: 124 FPS (8.04 ms) it´s quite more than just 20-50 fps

Hello everybody, I recently upgraded my gtx 960 to a gtx 1080 ti and i got the feeling my cpu is bottlenecking quite alot so I changed my i5 4670k @4,5 ghz to an i7 4770k @4,3 ghz. Well i play on a 1080p 144hz freesync (AOC 2770g4) and i dont see alot of perfomance boost to the previous build. well you got the point but on one side having some games like BF4 on ssd helped me in the loading screen alot and i think he will only overclock if he needs it 3-4 years window10 can be upgraded from windows7 and with the gtx 1080 i know thats the problem but on the other side the 970 will become probably less expensive
