  1. Thanks man imma go for this or the ryzen build
  2. He has an i3 2120 and has been having problems with the computer anyway I think he'd just like to have a new build entirely
  3. Hey all, My dad has this ancient PC from 2010 which he uses for work, and it's gotten to slow so he'd like to upgrade. We were looking at prebuilt PC's as it would be easier, but they're all too expensive for what you get. I was wondering if anyone could put me together a parts list, for less than £350 (GBP) (£400 max). He uses it to read emails, make word and excel documents etc, watch some films (Everything an old man uses a computer for). He doesn't need a fancy GPU, literally a display adaptor (Or he could use integrated graphics). The PC doesn't need any storage (We already have a hard drive) and if it's ddr3 then no RAM as I have 8GB I can use. Inbuilt wifi would be a plus. It needs a DvD drive aswell. Don't have to worry about windows as we have that too ~Many thanks~
  4. Not a thread about bottlenecking and I know that I wont be getting full 100% performance. If I wanted advice on bottlenecking then I would of asked. I will upgrade my CPU when I have the money too, but right now that's not at the top of my list.
  5. That's not bottlenecking lmao, those games are cpu intensive. It wont perform well because my CPU isnt good enough to run those games well (yet I still get 60fps in gta v.)
  6. Cheers I was shitting myself then because I dont have enough to upgrade my PSU lol
  7. Hey all, so I bought a Sapphire R9 380x Nitro off ebay to replace my 750ti, and realised that I only have a 500w PSU. Once it arrives my rig will be an AMD Athlon x4 860K, 8GB DDR3 RAM and the 380x. I have heard that the 380X was power hungry and was wondering, would my PSU be able to support it? This is the PSU http://www.awd-it.co.uk/evga-500w-80-plus-certified-psu-power-supply.html?gclid=Cj0KEQiAx7XBBRCdyNOw6PLHrYABEiQAJtyEQ-BMwSRunIudce1LaiASO5nH5oamiCDP6sG6WN8kIasaAvht8P8HAQ . Many thanks
  8. Ah, so should I send it back for repair? The screen still isnt turning on
